My bf & I were in town visiting and wanted to find a nice place for dinner. When I called about my reservation initially the woman on the phone was very dismissive and acted like asking about where the live entertainment would be afterwards was a crazy question. She had told me the lake view restaurant was in a different location and that the live music was at the Sky resort.

The day of our reservation we ran late and I called to ask if it would be a problem...

The Lakeview Restaurant knows how to do meals right. Their menu features creative selections, and the chef handles each ingredient with finesse and a light touch. I especially appreciate that they offer half portions of pasta—a thoughtful option for those who want to sample more than one dish.

The house-made spinach pappardelle with English peas, asparagus, zucchini, and wild ramp pesto was absolutely delicious. And the La Belle Farms duck breasts? Perfectly...

Wasn't sure what to expect coming to Skytop Inn, but was pleasantly surprised by the level of service, friendliness, and professionalism of the entire staff from the moment we stepped on the grounds. Our dinner at the Lakeview restaurant continued that experience where we were treated to perfectly cooked meals (I got the homemade spaghetti and meatballs, but even something as simple as that was incredibly well done!) and even has a Mature Bald Eagle fly over the lake around...
