Sal's Pizza & Family Restaurant

Can’t ride the D & L Trail through Slatington without stopping at Sal’s Pizza and Family Restaurant. We usually just get a slice of pizza, regular and Sicilian and a beverage, but it’s always delicious! The food looks great, but since we’re biking we keep our selections pretty simple. The employees are always very nice, friendly and accommodating. Clean bathroom as well which is nice after being on the bike trail.
Would love to come back and try something else on the menu sometime!

I'm a Jersey girl and have been in Slatington for 3 years and being a Jersey Girl pizza is a huge deal in my family, we absolutely love pizza, with that being said finding pizza in PA has been hard we would have to drive far for good pizza. Today our regular pizza spot was closed and I had no choice but to order near my area, and the pizza spot I'm not a fan of so decided to give this spot a shot AND LET ME TELL YOU! They did not disappoint at all I felt like I had a NJ pizza. This is by far the best pizza I had since I moved to PA

Their food is always amazing! We ordered pizza and they did not disappoint! I recommend bacon and onion pizza. And garlic knots! They are made fresh and go with any meal you choose!

First time being here and I was a bit nervous. New place and a new menu. Unfamiliar terrain. The staff were polite, courtesy, and had patience as I determined what I wanted to eat. The small town home like feel was definitely a plus. The staff brought me my meal and were pleasant and kind. The portions were large and I ended up having left overs. As I went to leave, I was happy to hear them thank me and wish me well. Even though I was out of my comfort zone trying a new place, it will definitely not be the last time I go there.

With that being said, if you are ever on the D&L trail and/or find yourself in Slatington,PA be sure to stop in.

Very good pizza. Lots of grease comes out on top. Maybe that's what makes it taste good. The geese are not for reading but they are right around the corner over the bridge.

Parking: Very small lot across street

Kid-friendliness: Teenagers can get loud.

This is a good place to go for pizza. They recently changed the bread knots and they are delicious.

While riding my bike on the trail on Friday May 3, 2024 I realized I left my lunch back in the car. I went to Sal's for a slice of energy food, cheese & pepperoni. The woman was very friendly and she offered to bring my lunch out to the table outside. The slice was very cheesy and satisfying. I should have ordered two. The last time I was through this area was eight years ago. I'll have to come back more often.

Everything I have ever had from here is excellent!!! The people that work here are always very polite. I just moved to the area a little over 2 years ago and this is the best pizza place I have found and it's the only one I go to every time I want something from a pizza menu. You never need to order extra cheese bc they put enough on it. If you get extra it literally slides everywhere. But it's delicious

I get pizza from there all the time it is the best pizza around there's a guy named Chickie who always takes good care of me whenever I come there I mostly get pizzas but the cheesecakes are out of this world
