We stopped here several months ago, and had a delicious lunch. The food was great, very hot, the beers were refreshing. Service was fine. In looking at the negative reviews here, it seems those all occurred over a year ago (in early 2024) and they must have made some changes in the right direction. We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem tucked away. My only suggestions are to advertise more with a sign out front, and a sign out on Route 8, because I had no idea it...

We were pleasantly surprised by our first visit to the Twisted Oak Tavern. It was slightly pricier than expected, but not exorbitantly so. The smoked meats were very good, and our server was attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again since we did not get to try the smoked brisket on this trip.

My friend and I went in to get dinner and we had a lovely time. Miss Jordan took care of us at the bar and was literally a ray of sunshine! She was very courteous and gave us great service - we will definitely be back. The food and drinks were delicious!
