“Yesterday my friend and I were followed by a creepy man, and we went into the Roll’n’Scoop to stay away from him. After we noticed the man was outside watching us through the window, we let the workers know our situation. They locked the doors and let other people know about the man. Once the man was away from the door, they let us out the back door. Without these workers I don’t know what would’ve happened to me and my friend. I am very grateful for their kindness.
I’ve had their sushi and boba; they are both very great, so I would definitely recommend this place. They have great food/drinks and very kind workers.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. Shower for my niece was one of three events hosted plus reg business hours on this special day. Would have never know three events and all lodging options were booked on this day. Such a peaceful, simple, relaxing place. Shower hosted in the Estate room was perfect. Room is perfect so no or very little decorating us necessary. Relatives rented the house on property and it's historic, charming, and well kept. Manager, Scott, was easy going and great to work with, as was all staff. Stop for a bite to eat, enjoy a glass of wine, stay the night, or rent the venue, or all 4! EVERYTHING is fantastic!”

“What a wonderful experience! We brought the kids out for the first time and taught them a little etiquette. Everything was outstanding and large portions also. I haven't seen my boys eat that much in a really long time. The hostess was very sweet to us. We were seated right away. “I love this bar. I’ve visited for years, since I moved to the area. It’s a quick lunch spot and a great place for late night refreshments. And the soups!!!! The patio was a beautiful addition that I have really enjoyed the past few summers. This year’s addition of palms and tiki umbrellas has created an even more relaxing environment. All of the employees are incredibly friendly and quickly get to know you. It’s welcoming. Also, I feel safe going here alone. The owners are generous in supporting their local community and neighbors. They have helped me on multiple occasions host fundraisers for various charities I am involved with or they have made donations. Truly a locally owned small business/gem of Dunbar that you should try. If you’re new to the area, you just might make new friends. If you’re stopping through, you’ll be welcomed. I almost forgot, this is my favorite place to feel the holiday spirit. Halloween is an event and Christmas is a popup bar/holiday vibe. Seriously, the inside is covered in Christmas lights. Multicolored. You’ll love it.”

“How can I say no to a Haunted Pizza shop? Turns out I can't. It's cozy and cute (Beavis and Butthead as Freddie and Jason - *snort*) and the pizza was really good. Crust was wonderfully crispy, the meatballs on the pizza were wonderful and the buffalo wings were delicious!”

“Lisa is wonderful as well.as her shop.and products she offers. She knows her stuff. She takes the time with each person in.a one on one consultation for a small.fee, which is applicable to the first purchase. I was impressed with my 'bill' when I saw how many supplements and magnesium lotion I was purchasing. And by the way, the magnesium lotion is a life saver for pain. It works faster than any otc oral thing that isn't good for you anyway. My mother had relief in between 10-15 minutes with a three day old ache in her back.”
