Everything was good wish it was in a better location with parking. However the best chorizo quesadilla I've ever had.

Probably the best Mexican in this state! I'm from Arizona/california and used to good Mexican food and this state is not it for Mexican..but this place!!! Mmm the street tacos are amazing. Will be back.

It's a small restaurant, so don't expect things to be instant, but the food is carefully, and deliciously, crafted, and therefore worth waiting for. I recommend swinging by if you're in town.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options availableKid-friendliness: Kids menu available

Overall the food was about a 3, maybe 4 star. The salsa, hands down, 5 star. The real issue was the cleanliness and service. My buddy and I were seated by a young friendly gentleman about 15 years old. The underside of his fingernails were excessively dirty (should've been a sign of things to come). He gave us chips and salsa (which where very good). He then disappeared for about 12-15 min with no other sign of employees in sight. Longer story short, where he went, service was slow.... The bigger problem was what happened after we ate. Without being descriptive, these two amigos that ate there spent then evening awake from what I'll describe as a stomach bug. Food was good, service and aftermath where disturbing.

Food was really good. Family owned and ran, which I love! Made me feel welcomed and answered all my questions. Reasonably priced food.

We loved it! Small, not crowded. Easy street parking. In the heart of downtown. Awesome homemade guacamole. Great combos, served steaming hot. A real hidden gem.

When you first walk in, all you smell is the putrid scent of the next door soap store. KEEP WALKING. Don't let it deter you!! Food was INCREDIBLE!! Chicken fajitas were a *little* dry before I added the hot sauce, but were still seasoned to perfection. The Chile rellenos we're PHENOMENAL. I couldn't believe how incredible they were. SO GOOD. As we ate our meals, I observed how it was too bad there weren't more patrons. This place SHOULD be PACKED! My fiancé observed how it was too bad we didn't live closer. I know where we will be stopping the next time we drive through however. Staff was so nice and polite and seriously the food is great!! Locals: PLEASE GO!! I want to be able to come back!

Very authentic food. The pork carnita's were delicious. You could tell the salsa was homemade and fabulous. If I am ever back in the area I would eat there again.

Good fish tacos with fresh ingredients in building with fascinating recycling/bulk food business.

Excellent Mexican food. Freshly made beans and rice; great chicken burritos and tacos.

Great food and service. The chef (?) personally comes out to take our order and deliver our food. We went on a Sunday afternoon when it wasn't too crowded so maybe that's why he was able to do that. I've had bad Mexican food before where you could tell it was just a bunch of ingredients "assembled" together as a dish, but I got the carnitas lunch special and it tasted pretty good, like it was actually cooked. Also the chips they give are good and not generic either.

Best authentic Mexican we've had since coming from Tucson. It was the most food our toddler ate during our whole trip. The owner was very kind to us and we had nice conversation while we waited for our to go order.

Have tried this restaurant a handful of times since so many rave about it. The food always seems to be disappointing though. Doesn't really have much flavor aside from the cortija and lettuce. :/ I've gotten the tacos, fajitas and chicken burrito. Literally each have tasted like the spices were forgotten on different occasions. If you can, make the drive to go to Pittsburgh for your Mexican food. Not ever a recommendation when family is in town.

Fantastic food and superior service. It was slow at the time my family and I visited and the cook/(owner?) came out to talk to us on several occasions. The waiter/host checked up on us several times as well to make sure we were all good. Will definitely be back :)
