My husband and I love Em’s! We both lived in Johnstown years ago and we loved Em’s in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.We were thrilled to find Em’s in Somerset five years ago, and we go every time we visit.

Very good sub. Deserves higher than a 4 but can't give a 5 because 5 is for genuine Philly roll. The roll was good but not Philly. Overall a good place for a sandwich.

Very surprised by the fish sandwhich (hadock) super good. Great piece of fish. 11" club was food. 11" Italian Supreme was very good. Rueben sandwhich was very good. Em's Subs is a solid place to get a hoagie. I usually order a chicken salad hoagie even though it's not on the menu board. The reuben is also a good option. There is a decent selection of pasta, macaroni, and potato salads.

3ed time I have got a sub from there an every time the sub is well made an not pitched together an make a mess, I call in an everytime I go in it's ready.. so delicious

Em's in Somerset is hit or miss. If you get a steak sub-you have to specifically ask them to chop up the steak or they just put the steak as one solid piece. Never saw any sub place do this with a steak sub. Often the order taker doesn't pay close enough attention and you end up with white when you asked for wheat and tomatoes when you specifically say, "no tomatoes ".
