I am (was) a regular customer because I live on this end of town. I had an extremely bad experience with a cashier named Paul telling me as a customer what to do to make his job easier. Me being a cashier before I went to college and got a better job customers always loved me because I was always nice and never told customers what to do whether it made my job easier or not. They must hire literally anyone with poor customer service. And the manager didn't give a crap or do anything either all they do is sarcastically apologize. Thank god for two giant eagles I will be going to the other one from now on at least there's self checkouts so you don't have to be forced to deal with rude employees.

Wonderful variety of baked goods. Everything we have bought tasted great, I think the prices are reasonable and the employees are great.

Rotten produce and meats. Poor selection overall of seafood. No butchers on hand to cut meats or pick out fresh seafood. Overall a poor quality store. Hopeful they tear it down and build new with different mgt and owners. Staff has been friendly tho.

This is the worst Giant Eagle I have ever been to! We bought chicken on Sunday and it smelled foul by today (Wednesday). I never like to get produce here because it is always moldy, brown or rotten or doesn't last more than two days in the fridge. I am tired of wasting my money at this place!

Very pleased with the pharmacy. They took the time to look at different discounts on several prescriptions to get me the best price on each one. They've always been helpful there.
Thanks for rotten peaches G E. now planning something else for our company/client picnic today. Please respond.

A life time ago i worked at a grocery store. At that time they had bagger training. I just bought specialty bread that's almost $5 a loaf only to have it bagged with a half gallon of orange juice. This is not the first time either. Come on Giant Eagle you can do better than that! Train your cashiers to bag properly.

The main reason most people (including myself) go here is that it is the only large grocery store for several miles, especially if you're traveling west on Route 31 towards the ski resorts. It's a decent Giant Eagle - not a particularly great selection but it always works for us. I wish the business next door would pick up... that parking lot is so huge and empty!
