I drive a truck over the road and had taken what I thought was a wrong exit in Pennsylvania Appalachian mountains. I had ran out 10:47 of an 11:00 day drive time when saw Sullivans bar and restaurant on the right side of the road . There was a big enough parking lot to the left of the restaurant to park a 72’ long tractor trailer. I went and told the lady at the bar that I was out of time and that I would be legal to drive for ten hours. She had seen me park the truck through the window and said that I would be fine were I was parked . So I locked my truck and went back in sat down at the bar and ordered.I had the best meal and the best conversation there of any place I’ve traveled and have the entire United States. And you not ask to meet friendlier people anywhere. This is a great place to stop and eat and to see.

We stopped in here on our way back home and we were glad we did. The staff was very friendly and the food was great! Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

Terrible terrible terrible food service atmosphere couldn't find coors light I can't even make this shit up it was so dirty food took 2 hrs as everything was cooked 1 thing at a time and burnt to hell and back...everything sucks I promise save yourself the trouble and take your money somewhere else!

Stopped for a burger and a beer, saw the “2020 Was Rigged” banner, took my business elsewhere. It’s really that simple. If you feel a need to shout your absurd propaganda from the front of your business, then you are part of the problem, and I will not enable you.

If I could get 0 stars I would. We came with 7 guys when it was empty and was greeted by terribly angry staff. We planned to drink and eat all night there. I have never in my life experienced something like this.Worst experience in a bar/restaurant experience. It’s a shame because it has a great opportunity to be nice.Run like we didAs expected the owner replied. We came in after 2 beers. We were not drunk at all! It was one of the worst experiences in service I have ever seen!We arrived and it was completely quiet and was greeted by strange looks from the bartender. We sat down and menus were thrown in front of us. One guy asked if they didn’t want us here and the reply was “what kind of idiotic question is that? And walked away”So we left. I am tolerant for a place being run down but not for mean and miserable people

I’ve been driving by the place for months for a job nearby and even during what should be busy times Thursday , Friday and Saturday evenings and the place is empty . —Get a clue your political stupidity is ruining you plus all the horrible food reviews which I did experience myself few years ago on a snowmobile stop .Just think of the money you could make by not showcasing your views all over your building . Our crew of 15 will never stop there.Get rid of the signs , clean the place up, make a small and simple menu and your positive reviews and cash flow will follow . But we know your mindsets! Best of luck

Andy and Nikki were wonderful. We’re up for the week on vacation and stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. The food was delicious. Home cooked and fresh. Their Reuben and fries were one of the best I ever had. My husband’s steak salad was made with garden ingredients and the steak was smoked and so tender.Would recommend. It might be older but sometimes that’s the best place to go.Steven and I wish you luck on your business.

We were looking for a place to stop off the PA turnpike while visiting family. It’s nestled between the two local ski resorts.Fresh - never frozen - burger, fresh cut fries and homemade zucchini lasagna (FROM THE GARDEN OUT BACK) !!! Need I say more?It’s out of the way, and a little “dive-bar” inside but did have clean restrooms. The prices were fantastic as well. Wish it was closer to me so we could go every week and try the pizza.

This place was great!!…. Years ago before the current owner. I grew up working and skiing in these mountains and am so appalled at this place. Someone else left a review mentioning that maybe in this instance it’s ok to judge a book by its cover and I couldn’t agree more. This is not the kind of establishment that fits into our beautiful Laurel Highlands. These folks should be ashamed of their bigotry and homophobia but they aren’t. The inside gives reminders of what it used to be like, but it’s been trashed with the new ownership. If you can even bare to make it indoors, you’ll be met with mediocre service and a lack of offerings but truly.. save yourself the time and just keep driving. The way the ownership responds to reviews should really be all that you need to let you know what this place is all about.

I was treated like family from the time i walked in ! The have a very nice menu , the food was great ! I was staying from out of town with my children , and mentioned my boys love to fish , they let us fish and their private pound . We caught a lot of fish , and i saw big smiles on my childrens faces ! Thank you , and God bless you !!!
