Owner was so rude when I walked in she yelled at me for being by the door and laughed in our face about it,then we told her yeah I’m leaving nevermind and she said what in a bad tone and turned around and said out loud to a waitress you never can tell em can you and laughed. Used to go every week here but never again. Don’t know how this place is still in business
MAGA signs? No thanks. There is plenty of less racist food joints to spend a dollar. Hope this place goes out of business today.
So I was told they ADD gratituity to every take out order?? That is absolutely absurd! I'm surprised people still do take out here. I know this will be my last take out order. Salad 9.99 plus .99 Salad 9.99 plus .99 Cake 13 Breakfast special 11 or 12 Gratitude added Tax added to equal $66???
Great food and great service.
Great little diner. Close to I-76.

Happy atmosphere, a wonderful waitress, & delicious food! 10/10!
Quality meals @ prices you don't often see anymore.
If you're wondering if you should go to eat n park or summit diner, SUMMIT DINER SHOULD BE THE OBVIOUS ANSWER :)
Unfortunately in all my travels I have not encountered a place that only takes cash and tells you by the end of the meal. Then directs you to their ATM which obviously gives the owner a kick back. Complete disappointment. When I asked where was it posted I was told "on the tables" which was conveniently forgotten on ours (interesting) then told "we" were told at the beginning of our service in which I went to the bathroom because we had been on the road for 5 hours. Do not bother with this place. The service wasn't bad...but not great. Food overpriced for what you received and they only take cash. As a fellow business owner I wish we could operate that way (shady). It's the 21st century and they don't take credit cards, Venmo, cash app, PayPal, Zelle ect .... hummmmmm interesting. Calling out the IRS to do a closer look at this establishment. Not sure how they are getting away with this. Someone is making out and it sure isn't the staff. Any way, I have other choices for places to eat. Had high hopes for this diner, (because I like supporting locally owned establishments) but unfortunately had to pay a convience fee to pay my bill and was told it was my fault ?♀️. Won't be back and suggest making another choice if you're passing through. Safe travels my fellow traveler's. Hope this helps in making a decision on where to eat when traveling!
Parking: It's in the back of the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps for the front entrance. In back there is a ramp that goes into the resteraunt, probably used for deliveries, but no signage saying wheelchair accessible. Their signage explaining how the resteraunt works, in general, is really bad.

I took the recommendation of a former employee I met as I was passing through the area. Great little diner. Hot coffee, a hearty breakfast all at a reasonable price to start my day was welcoming. Can't go wrong stopping here.

CASH only, which is kind of annoying. But still, great place. We were passing through and stopped for lunch. The hot honey chicken sandwich was AMAZING. I was seriously impressed. Not often can a diner sandwich make my day, but it sure did. Fries were great too. No complaints about the food. Only reason leaving 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because they don't serve water. Every restaurant I've ever been to anywhere in the country gives you a glass of water if you want one. They won't. They'll make you buy bottled water for $1. That's pretty crappy, if you ask me. How much does a courtesy water cost them? 5 cents? C'mon. Waitstaff was friendly though.

An absolute institution. Everything a diner should be. Prices are incredible for 2024, food is good and this place is a throwback to the classic American diner that defined dining for the hard working people of this country for decades. Worth a stop-give a good tip and buy a mug!

This is one of the best places I found to eat in Somerset, where you get really good service and the staff is really friendly. The food was genuously portioned.
