Tailgate was exactly the kind of place you hope to find around a wedding weekend — welcoming, relaxed, and full of local charm. We stopped in after the church ceremony for a few beers and pierogies, and even with the power briefly going out, the staff handled everything with a great attitude and kept the vibe easy and fun. What really stood out was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, even helping us find another spot near our hotel later that night. That kind of personal touch is rare, and it made the whole weekend feel even more memorable. Great people, great atmosphere, and absolutely worth supporting.

Lauren is the manager very pretty but clearly showed favortism to other customers. She didnt say please or thank you, she ignored me for 5 to 10 minutes, she had her cell phone in her hand. The wings, soup and beer were excellent. You could have gotten a better tip from a business owner but you clearly talked too much and show favortism toward others. You clearly served people faster than me. You clearly didnt have a smile on your face. I have a business background of 25 years and cant understand how people can be a manager when they cant even mnanage themselves!

I visited Tailgatez during my vacation to the United States and had an excellent experience. I was served by the owner’s son, who was exceptionally friendly and polite. When I asked about cocktails, he mentioned he could make anything I wanted, so I ordered a margarita — it was delicious. I also had a Diet Coke, which came with two refills.The food was equally impressive. I ordered fries, onion rings, and a grilled cheese sandwich, all of which were fresh and flavorful. Great value, great service, and a place I would highly recommend.

We went out to eat here with my husband and overall the food was really great, no complaints at all in that department. Everything we ordered came out hot and fresh, so that part of the experience was enjoyable. However, the staff really left a bad impression on us. A younger girl working there was not very welcoming or polite, which already set a weird tone for the visit. We overheard her making comments about a customer who was picking up food, we couldn’t hear exactly what was said about who he was picking up for or what he said in general but we did clearly hear her say “ew” to the customer, which then led to a bit of a dispute between them! The whole situation came across as very unprofessional and honestly made the dinner feel uncomfortable and unwelcome for us as guests. We’ve always liked this place for the food, but after this experience, the service really doesn’t match the quality of the kitchen. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning as often, if at all, because of how unprofessional and uncomfortable the staff made the visit!

We had a fantastic lunch at Tailgatez Sports Grill today!
Jesse, who seated us and was our server, is seriously a superstar. He was the nicest guy and a genuine joy to interact with. He was on the ball and extremely attentive, and engaged in nice conversation with us. We'd request to be seated in his section in the future 100%!
The food was delicious! For $49 (without tip included), we had the black and bleu burger with fries, Baja rice bowl, brownie sundae and a soft drink. The burger was messy (the way my fiancé prefers them!) and the Cajun ranch it came with was incredible. The Baja rice bowl was out of this world - you can eat it using the chips or crush the chips and eat it with a fork. The brownie sundae was huge and so good! Everything came out quickly too. Our compliments to the chef.
There was music playing but it was the perfect volume, we could easily talk. There was also a nice bartender behind the bar who said goodbye to us as we left.
We genuinely look forward to returning to Tailgatez, it was a wonderful lunch and Jesse's fantastic service made it even better.
Last two times I've been in I've left after one drink because the service at the bar is soooo slow. Sat there being ignored for 10+ minutes with a menu and empty beer before I had enough. Applebee's can't come soon enough!
