Weve ordered from here many times but we orderee take out tonight. What a disappointment. Their queaso dish was just a melted mess of cheese. When we called the staff was rude. We wont be going back and well be disputing the charge. I recommend trying the other Mexican places near by.

Great little Mexican place. Awesome food. I had the quesadilla tinga and the carne con sazon. Loved both of them! The atmosphere is cozy with nice music playing. Service is wonderful too.

Quite honestly, very underwhelmed. For $37 my husband and I got 2 fajita meals. Servings a bit in the skimpy side and the steak and chicken lacked flavor. Too many other decent Mexican food places to waste money here

We read the reviews, and perhaps had too high of an expectation. Started with a plate of about 14 chips and 1/4 cup of pico (both of which were good, btw). Very attentive and professional server took our drink order and we ordered appetizer of queso that was apparently made to order and took longer than we expected (and was not exactly worth the wait), again with a small handful of chips (not used to a Mexican joint being stingy on chips). The entrees were well-presented and my steak with sautéed onions and jalapeños was very good but my wife's dish (forgot to get the name) was a bit dry. Dining room was very clean and pleasant (even "cozy"), and service was good. Food was good but wasn't the second coming of Jesus that other reviewers are saying. We're new to the area and not snobs but we'll keep looking.

Small restaurant with great food! The service is very good and the experience is very authentic. I've gone multiple times with family and friends, and everyone has loved it. If anyone is looking for authentic and great food, this is the spot!

Small space in a shopping center but don't be fooled by that ... this place has delicious, authentic Mexican food -- and good service to boot. Highly recommend it!

The food here is amazing. It's consistently amazing also. We order take out about once a week. Left overs warm up just as good too. Love taking leftovers to work the next day.

The food was delicious. It was not very full. I made a reservation anyway as they do have a small dining area and the wait could be long.

Food was OK- when we got it. Service was friendly but otherwise fair to poor. Place is not very big. We sat and waited a bit before anyone came over - dropped off chips and what appeared to be Pico de Gallo but had very little flavor. We ordered and watched the table next to us get 2 sizzling plate fajitas - but no plates of garnish ( lettuce tomato guacamole rice) - took 5+ minutes for that to come out. Then my girlfriend's fajita plate was delivered with the garnish but no torts! The waitress says "OH, you wanted torts with that?" She asked flour or corn when she took the order - and how do you eat fajitas without them??? So she waited while her food cooled until the torts arrived. My plate was still 5+ minutes after that. How do you have a 2 top and both meals can't be served at the same time and completely? We won't be going back. I would have given it 0 stars if I could except the servers did seem genuinely friendly and I think the kitchen is the problem.

El Cactus is one of my family's favorite little restaurants. They do a lot of take out business because they are so small. I am still able to eat there, though, even in my wheelchair. The food is delicious and the prices are good. We ordered bean and cheese nachos and chicken tamales as starters. I love the sizzling chicken fajitas! It is my favorite thing to order. My husband always gets steak and chicken with his fajitas. My son loves the cheese quesadillas. Everything is delicious.
