My husband & I were on our way to a Phillies game yesterday when it got postponed. The next exit off the NE Extension was Harleysville to turn around. I hopped on Yelp! and found Jesse’s - we wanted to eat before heading back home to Berks County. We are SO glad we did! The BEST BBQ ever!! My husband and I have been ordering from Jesse’s for years and are absolutely obsessed! The burnt ends are our guilty pleasure, and I have to admit we selfishly don’t even share them with our kids because we want them all to ourselves. Besides the undeniably delicious food, the service and atmosphere is what will always have my family coming back for more. A really nice spot to have some delicious local BBQ. Their BBQ meats were slow cooked in big smokers right outside the restaurant for everybody to see and immediately fall in love with smell.
Highly recommend their side dishes. Such as BBQ Baked Beans, Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potato Fries, Loaded Fries, and Coleslaw.
