So much hype about their cheesesteak but, in this case, it’s all legit. A giant log of meat and cheese, surrounded by a just-chewy-enough seeded roll. I dare you to finish it in one sitting. I did…but barely. Had to save the sausage and pepper sandwich I also ordered for another night. It was similarly fantastic, even reheated. My new go-to place.
Berardi Bros’ cheesesteaks are so good I briefly considered proposing to the sandwich instead of my girlfriend — the sandwich was hotter and way less complicated. The bread’s got that perfect “I might fight you for this last bite” texture, and the meat’s so juicy it should come with a lifeguard. Honestly, if this cheesesteak had a resume, I’d hire it on the spot.
Cheesesteak is solid! Not many places on this level close by. Service is friendly and fast. More a takeout than dine in, but they have 5-6 booths and never had to wait to get a table.
