“No one understands how hard it is to work in the fast food industry. Everyone is only one person they can’t do things all at once, if there is a mess they will get to it, if icecream is melting that’s on you for not grabbing it, if the drive through takes long that’s on yall for ordering so much, they are very nice there and they try there best so don’t leave bad reviews if you never experienced fast food. Every person that works there greets you and sometimes has conversations maybe the problem is the customers. If they mess up grow up people make mistakes it happens no one’s perfect. The machine is probably down for a reason for the ice cream if you don’t like it go get some ice cream from somewhere else. I am a customer myself but I have worked in fast food myself it is not easy.“

“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

The chocolate-dipped biscotti, though, delicious! It was not super crunchy like others, and I've decided that's the way I like them (I don't dip them in coffee, so I'm fine with the slightly softer texture). “I love Adelie Coffee House. The coffee is simply delicious! It's rich, smooth, aromatic, soothing - like a warm blanket fresh out of the dryer. I've only tried the cheese danish. It was very good. The baristas are great - all of them. The coffee house itself is bare bones, yet clean and cozy. You have the option to sit outside if you like. I'm so glad this little gem is right down the street from my house.💜“

“This place was incredible. I was hungry and freezing when we got there. I got a croque monsuier ( fancy grilled cheese n ham with extra butter) delicious. A caramel macchiatto and a fruit tart. My Goodness...the cream and the pastry on that tart...problematic to say the least. So, so delicious. Very friendly atmosphere, very clean and efficient. I will definitely return. I just gotta be a little more regular at the gym.“

“Edit: Short blond hair barista was very kind. Came up to me and asked what he could do to make my drink better. Very nice kid. We’ll get it right. Make me a good one. ;) 4 FULL pumps mocha 4 FULL pumps white mocha, 2 shots espresso, 2% milk.

50% of the time my black and white mocha latte is made wrong. i hate to be that guy but I have started to ask them to remake it because it’s 6
bucks and they go and make it wrong again. It’s only when certain barista‘s are on but it is many of them. It’s been going on for a couple of months now.
I even ask them now, are there 4 shots of mocha and 4 shots of white mocha in this? They say yep! I sip it, and it’s terrible. I know it’s gonna be bad if I don’t see one of the 3 people working that make it good. I don’t know if it’s bad half or quarter pumps or if someone made the mocha sauce wrong to begin with.
Today I finally called regional to try and spark a retrain for them. I go here every single day and 1 out of 2 lattes are bad. I love this location because of the charm on state street but you guys have to fix this. Can’t keep paying up for premium coffee and getting a terrible drink.

I will update this review if it gets fixed.

UPDATE: seems like it’s been fixed. We’re 4 for 4 so far. 👍🏻 I’ll give an additional star for each righr drink from here on out.

“Lovey Poke & Tea House has become one of my go-to spots in Newtown. The poke is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently on point. You can really taste the quality in every bowl.

The milk teas are just as good—great variety and perfectly made every time.

“I just love how they make matcha latte, and my daughter loves cocoa! Barista girls are always so friendly, they will tell everyone what they do and how! They also have sweets🤪 and how the area around is decorated is just a delight! I sincerely wish everyone to visit there at least once and you will understand what I am talking about.
