My son and I made our first visit today. Antipasto with no italian meat? Um ok. The fried zucchini rings were burnt black on one side, and still served. The fall salad had microgreens that had not been sorted. There were sticks that needed to be pulled from my mouth. And MAYBE four or five pieces of goat cheese. Barely enough for three bites of salad with cheese. Finally, Cavalli in brown sauce? Yikes!!!!!
Excellent all around! Diverse menu- something for everyone and offers unique choices! It's an upper scale dining experience in Chester county without paying premium pricing and city parking fees!
Second visit not nearly as nice to first visit Apptz- meatballs slightly undercooked and served under temp, grilled octopus was delicious Bread was good but way too much butter. Made it a bit soggy although it was grilled Corn ravioli was just ok mushroom pappardelle was nice Flourless chocolate cake was disappointing . Sorry. It was like eating a dry brownie that crumbled. Nothing like a true flourless chocolate cake.
