“This is a hidden gem of Royersford. Chicken so tender its like butter and literally falls off the bone. The rice and beans is like none ive ever had before, and the plantains are perfection. The owners are so incredibly sweet and friendly. Cannot recommend this place more.”

“Went on a Friday night around 9 pm. Ordered a couple beers and then attempted to order some food and we were told the kitchen was already closed. This was unexpected since it was a weekend and they are open til 11. Anyway, the beers were good, the bar was packed, the employees were nice, but damn were we disappointed that the kitchen closed so early. Saw some people eating burgers that looked amazing. So after a few beers we left for a place that served food later.”

“I absolutely love this place my wife Olga and I are there every 2 days my kids have been raised on this milk the owner Sean treats us like we are family and if he is still at the counter shortly after close he has opened the door knowing we only give our kids his milk they always have amazing local baked goods jelly's and jams I would recommend this place whether your looking for a hoagie or some garlic powder they get you covered”

“We came in on 4/14/2024 with a party of 12. Most of us had never been here before. The waitress was great. She was very patient with my husband who couldn't decide what he wanted. The food showed up and honestly, for the prices was a little too much. I don't mean that in a good way either. One person got a hoagie that came on a hard roll. Another got a healthy omelet that had zero seasoning. Another got the strawberry French toast and it had way too much strawberries on it that it was leaking off the plate and very sweet. 2 in our group got items with buffalo sauce (buffalo cheesesteak and quesadilla) and both had way too much buffalo. So much buffalo that both the roll and the shells of the quesadilla was mushy and soft by sitting in too much liquid.The other few members of our group enjoyed their food. The environment was nice. There wasn't much parking when we showed up though (12:45 pm). The floors were very sticky also.We may give it a try if we are in the area again.”

“I've had dinner here on several occasions with friends and loved ones and I have to compliment the consistency of the food and the service. Both are excellent. This is a place I truly look forward to when I'm craving a nice pizza, a delicious course with meat, and even the desserts. “This has been our family's go-to takeout place for the past 8 years. My kids have grown up loving their "dippy chicken" (sweet and sour), and their lo mein has gotten us all through some bad days. Feeling down? Go get yourself some lo mein from Mayflower, make yourself a cup of tea at home, and cozy up under a soft blanket. If I'm having an especially rough day, a side order of steamed vegetables and some crab rangoons can make the world feel a little better. My youngest child says the only way he likes cashews is when he has the cashew chicken from Mayflower. My husband, without fail, orders the bourbon chicken every time. Even when he says he might want to switch it up, we all know he'll still end up ordering the bourbon chicken. For good reason - it is incredibly good! I usually order their pad thai. I know, they are not listed as a thai food place, but they still make the best pad thai I've had within a 20 mile radius! I like to get mine extra spicy so it has a little kick. Their Mongolian beef is good. I've gone through a few phases where I'll prefer their Schezuan chicken or hunan chicken, or I'll feel like trying something a bit different - everything I've tried has been good. I will say that I prefer the white rice over fried, I don't order the general tsao's very often because I find it a little too sweet, and while I don't mind their boneless spare ribs, they aren't something I order often as they can be a little dry, but those are all personal preferences. Also, thank goodness for online ordering! I have anxiety and trouble hearing, which can make talking on the phone or placing orders in person nearly impossible at times, so I greatly appreciate the ability to click a few buttons and know that my order will be ready quickly. That said, the people are always very friendly, their delivery driver always greets me with a smile, and it's clear that a lot of care is put into their business. I look forward to many more years, knowing if I ever need a little joy through the day, an order from Mayflower is a great place to start.”

“I understand why my parents and grandparents have been visiting this place regularly since a very long time (perhaps 1982). Excellent stromboli with a great balance of dough, meat, cheese, and peppers. Despite having a little too much cheese and not enough broccoli, radishes, or peppers, the chef salad was still really tasty. Overall though, I'm eager to return because we're looking for a Pottstown establishment that can take the place of Ice House.”

It’s well decorated—interior design is thoughtful and tasteful, not tacky.It shares parking in the back with several other small establishments. Today it’s pouring outside, so it’s extra quiet. Yet I can imagine parking may be challenging on a sunny day.Food-wise, I think their sushi rolls are better than their ramen—I’m just not into their noodle’s texture. Their sushi rolls are of decent size and quality in their respective price category.Service is friendly. My only reservation today is: The restaurant is noticeably cold, as if they didn’t turn on the heat.”

“We came here a few times in the early Autumn with some friends who we hadn't seen in a while, because they wanted to introduce us to this place, knowing how I'm a big fan of the 1950s and would get a kick out of the awesome decor throughout. As soon as you walk in, you get greeted with memorabilia and even old movies playing on a projector screen. But more importantly, the food. I really enjoyed their chili dogs. Their crinkle fries are better than I'm used to elsewhere, but I still don't love them. Their Pepsi fountain sodas are OK (though they really should upgrade to Coca-Cola products), and their shakes are excellent (I tried the butterscotch shake one time). One thing I did not care for, however, was their malt. I literally did not get any malt flavor in my chocolate shake until quite literally the very end, because it was all caked on the bottom of the cup and not mixed throughout. I know not to get that if we return to that place when they reopen. Weird that an indoors place like this would even close for the winter, that's usually the time of year I'm really craving this kind of food and atmosphere.”

“al pastor and birria tacos were so good! stopped by for taco tuesday with my friend and we were so impressed. the service was fast, the pastor was tender and flavorful, the birria was perfectly rich, and the tacos came with delicious roasted peppers and tortilla chips. honestly we were amazed that you can still get so much good food at such a good price around here. definitely stop by if you're around the collegeville area!!Kid-friendliness: there are some not kid-friendly items from the convenience store on display right near the ordering counter, so i would probably not take kids inside. food is great though!”

“We ordered pizza from here and it was wonderful. We had a complicated order and they got everything correct. It was only $35 for two pizzas with a ton of toppings. The pizza was delicious and the sausage was very high quality. The crust was nice and crispy and the vegetables were plentiful on the white pizza. Would love to try their other menu items as well.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies that can be added. Many pizza options without meat.”
