Had an amazing meal tonight with a dear friend. The service was exemplary. The food hot and fresh. I had breakfast for dinner. Meat lovers omelet, home fries, and a side of some perfectly made scrapple. Enjoyed this meal with another saved soul and prayed over our food in gratitude and asking the Lord to bless it. Thank you for your patience as we discussed our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ well after our meal along with many biblical discussions. Love this place. Dont forget to say grace no matter where you are! God bless!

I love Spring-Ford Diner. They have a salad bar, and a senior menu where entrees are $15 instead of $20, and the salad bar is included. But, when my wife and I ordered one entree each, we carried home two boxes with a pound of food in them (because we got pasta, & there was about a pound of spaghetti next to my eggplant parm.)
I like all the family, probably some siblings who work there, and all those old-time Royersford regulars who I see there, too. Last time, we had lunch, so we peeked at the ol’ daytime crowd, too.
Not a fancy restaurant, it’s an old diner with cold slices of pie in a stand up cooler, just like mama used to make, from peach pie to coconut cream and everything in between.
I recommend you try this place for an old fashioned, delicious salad bar. That’s what we really go for. Then have a slice of pie and a cup of coffee for lunch one day, to treat yourself to good food, & attentive service.

Four of us, two seniors and two grand children, ate here around 1230 on a Tuesday. No wait, sat in a booth. Our server was a friendly, pleasant person. My grandson and I both ordered breakfast foods, while the women had lunch foods. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meals. Very quiet, so easy to talk.
Men's room was clean.
I live in NJ but would definitely return when visiting the family.

Our diners in Berks County don't serve portions like this….
Hey Foodies. It’s BIgDaveIsFat and I’m back with another review. Today we tired a local diner that is known for good food and great prices. The Spring-Ford Diner located in Spring City, Pa has many delicious items on their breakfast menu. Today I ordered sunny side up eggs, home fries and corn beef hash for mom and I grabbed some cream chipped beef for myself. I placed an order for delivery and the wait time was not long and my food was plenty hot when it arrived. When I took the bag from the driver I noticed it had a little weight to it. The containers were heavy and full of food and all I could think about was our diners in Berks County don’t serve portions like these. When I dig in I began to realize this was some of the best diner food I’ve ever eaten as far as breakfast is concerned. Their cream chipped beef is excellent. It was creamy and thick and contained no lumps. I added a little salt and pepper because most restaurants don’t add it, but that’s it. The home fries were top tier. They were made just as I like them. They were golden brown and crispy on one side. I do not think I’ve ever visited a restaurant that served better home fries. In fact, I’m just gonna say it now. The Spring-Ford diner has the best home fries and that’s coming from a “Trojan!” IYKYK
Mom’s platter was just as good. She is fighting pancreatic Cancer right now and her appetite is almost gone, but she ate most of platter with the exception of the hash because it such a large portion. She enjoyed it so much that I’ll be ordering breakfast again this morning. With that being said . My name BigDaveIsFat says it all. “Get Your Grub On!”

As far as diners go, it's slightly below average. I actually like it because of the stuffed grape leaves on the salad bar, which nobody has elsewhere, and the quality of the soups, which are thick, flavorful, and delicious.
Avoid the spaghetti

I think this place is best at a certain age range - it was just bland, overcooked, weirdly wet items - felt like someone spilled water on the food for a bit - yet also was overcooked - staff was nice but not a good spot

Service was fast and friendly. Food was good. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars for atmosphere was it was overly warm in the building.

I have eaten here a few times and am always impressed with the food and service. I had the open faced turkey plate, and it was a large amount of real turkey.

I can't believe how good everything I've had from here was. Don't even get me started on the homemade cakes they have are. Easily the best cakes I've ever had! The quality and quantity of food definitely justifies the price

The place was so hot and smelled like old books that I thought I was waiting to make bail .The hostess said it was broke for a few days and they had someone coming out on Monday 🤔 this was friday . The server was young and didn't really seem trained on how to interact with people . He got our order wrong . Had to ask for napkins , never asked if we wanted desert. After hearing this woman that I guess was the manger yelling right behind my head about changing filters in the ac system before they close lol I thought there was a fight . After she proceeded to yell her life story to a couple sitting at the table behind us . Really unprofessional. Talking about welfare cheese, getting out of the ghetto , doesn't like affection or being touched .She was a white woman using words like emancipated and ghetto about herself 🤣🤣 It was like eating at a support group . Over all the food was good but i dont know what i expected from Spring City so i give it 3 tweekers out of 5 .
