Traveling from Florida on a road trip we just wanted some home cooked food. Food was hot, good, and exactly what we were craving. Staff were super friendly.

I really did not want to leave this review because I love this place but the last time I was here was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. Ordered a chicken melt with no tomato (because the tomato’s make the bread extremely soggy) and some French toast for my gf. My chicken melt shows up with tomato on it no big deal it has come out with it before I asked the server to make me a new sandwich because the bread is completely soaked and soggy as soon as I got it. Sandwich comes back out 30 seconds later with the tomato scraped off bread still completely soaked and soggy. (Lazy cooks can’t even cook at a diner) so I asked the server again to make me a new sandwich instead of scraping the tomato off. Finally got my sandwich about 10-15 mins later. By that point my gf had also found a hair in her French toast and she was completely disgusted and wanted to leave. And to top it all off we had gotten a dark side of the moon dessert to go and later that night it had gone bad and tasted like alcohol. Very disappointing as this is my favorite breakfast place have been coming here for 15-20 years but am not sure I will ever be back after this experience

The most bland burger I’ve ever had in my life…specifically told me they wouldn’t put garlic on my burger and I had to put salt and pepper and ketchup and mustard on myself…emphasized how they don’t do anything but cook it back in the kitchen….if people can season a better burger at home there’s no point in eating out and paying them there…super mushy as well

The order was incorrect and I asked for my eggs cooked lite and they came cooked. They did fix the problem.
Was pleasantly surprised by this terrific diner. The atmosphere is very friendly and the big portions are delicious. Great selection of fresh desserts, made both on the premises and Shady Maple in Lancaster. Salad bar had a huge fresh variety of salad toppings. Katie, our server, was a delight. Will definitely be coming back.

I had the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast today. It was amazing. It's totally worth the 47 pounds I'll be gaining today.

Oh my gosh. We found this gem when looking for a good place to eat with lots of choices. We hit the bullseye with Spring-Ford diner. We ate dinner, and of course breakfast after dinner was so delicious. The small town atmosphere is wonderful, as is the service and the food. We highly recommend you visit the wonderful diner when in the area.
