My first time going with my husband and my daughters I got my girls if 3 and 5 kids pizza and Mac I love my seafood platter and my husband the chicken parm platter I had 2 margaritas and my husband 3 beers one it was good because w don’t eat American food a lot or Italian food so it was great I’m Italian puertorican and my husband Mexican culture so the food and the atmosphere was awesome my daughters was as chilled. I will definitely go back again is not far from me I live in Springfield . I tell family and friends to go and try it only that people leave crazy reviews and it’s not a bad place and the food was s good. So please stay with the same cook . God bless and keep striving to grow guys my blessing go out to the owners

Second time visiting. First was strong but this time left a lot to be desired. Bread came before dinner which was nice but new tapenade was very chunky instead of blended and wasn’t enjoyable - would have gladly taken lightly seasoned olive oil or butter. Crab cakes ($30?) were mushy and came with butter for “dipping” (?) no tartar sauce or cocktail sauce available. Seafood pasta ($33) while fresh (both seafood and pasta) but lacked flavor and no freshly grated parm. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is ok, but not quite what you’d expect for the price. A bit disappointing - hope they can improve.

We decided to try this place based on the high reviews and unfortunately, we do not share the same sentiment as many reviewers.
Service: We did order take out, but the service from the waitress who helped us with our order was great. She was super friendly and helped get our order quickly.
Atmosphere: The decor and interior looked spacious and clean based on the brief observation we made while picking up our food. We really like how it looks.
Food: We ordered 4 items - Eggplant Parm, Chicken Alfredo, Veal Parm, and Calamari appetizer.
- Eggplant Parm: Probably the best dish we had that night, except we felt there wasn't enough sauce, the sauce was overly acidic and unbalanced, and it was bland.
- Chicken Alfredo: The chicken was dry, the overall dish was bland, and the sauce was clumpy and not really all that saucy. Made the pasta dry and unpleasant.
- Veal Parm: The worst dish of the night. The breading on the veal tasted old and stale. There was just this unpleasant off tasting flavor to it that we could not finish it.
- Calamari: It was soggy and oily. While we understand doing take out can contribute to the sogginess, we believe using a different lid that offers a little vent would help tremendously. There are other restaurants who serve the same dish in the same style of take out container, but there is a vent on their lids to help mitigate the sogginess.
Not sure if we'd order from this place again, but maybe we will consider physically dining in to see if the food holds up to what others have experienced.

Atmosphere is very nice and enjoyable, but the service was slow and the eggplant parm was a waste of money.
Why do you serve your eggplant parm in a small bowl? Not a good decision, and hard to cut in the small bowl. I had to just dump it out. And we were getting served after people who came in after us. We only ordered the eggplant perm and my wife had another spaghetti dish. Very slow service for it not being an overly crowded dinner. This place needs to stick with the basics and stop trying to be original. Please change the eggplant parm,.please! Nothing to write home about at a restaurant that has so much potential.

This was the best meal I've had in a long time. First time at This restaurant and when speaking with the owner, he said they're getting a lot of positive feedback on the new menu. Well, here's more. Excellent excellent excellent. Will be returning for more. ??

It was my first time to Dom & Mia's and I had read some reviews beforehand. I had chicken Oscar, my wife had saffron seafood risotto, my other dinner companions had eggplant parmesan, and a pizza special for the night. I was a line cook/chef in a previous life before changing careers and I was experienced in sauté as well as every station in the kitchen and I must say that the chicken Oscar was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have done it better myself. As well as my other companions, we were all delighted with our food and overall experience. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and how it's prepared he also was very attentive to our needs from start to finish. I also ordered the meatballs as an appetizer to see if other reviews were accurate and they were on the mark. They were seasoned to perfection, and they had the right texture I would expect from a chef who knows how to do them. They were served with seasoned ricotta cheese that was a perfect accompaniment. I only had one beer, and that was very good too, I believe it was called Sandy's mom, but don't quote me on that. I would definitely recommend this cozy restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Italian meal. Bon appetite compliments to the chef!

Really cute place, great service. Food was good, not great. The ricotta appetizer might have been better warm instead of cold and could have used some garlic or lemon or something. We shared the entree with “blackened chicken”, sausage, broccoli rabe, and rigatoni in a red pepper cream sauce. It was good but was missing something. Also the chicken wasn’t really blackened. The pomegranate margarita was just good, but the Dominator was great.
