It looks like the hungry a has changed hands back in November of 2024. The new owners seem very nice end the service is still excellent. Cozy place kind of small can get very busy on Saturday mornings

Visited Hungry A after a visit to Mainline Health. Food was really good and very reasonably priced. Had a craving for a turkey club and was not disappointed. My wife had an omelet which she said was very flavorful

We are from Long Island and checked out of the hotel too late for the breakfast menu, so they sent us to Wawa, who refused to make me scrambled eggs in the microwave! A local gentleman heard the ruckus and recommended Hungry A to us. We felt very nostalgic seeing your luncheonette-style atmosphere and the bacon and eggs on the grill at 12 noon! We both ordered omlettes, and the 5 strips each of bacon were well done as requested! Large coffee and tea with real milk topped us off for our ride home! We grew up in the Fifties, and we were looking for a Jukebox, too! Memorable breakfast for sure! 😋
P.S. Keto dieters should put Hungry A on their list of restaurants!

We’ve been trying breakfast places in the area and found this gem. There’s a parking lot. You order at the counter. They have a case with different drinks including cans of Diet Coke. They have a rack of Herr’s chip options. The people are very friendly and helpful. There are two long tables with stools for patrons. They’ve been family owned and operating for 60 years. We tried the Eggle which is 2 eggs and cheese on a bagel and the grilled cheese sandwich. We also got a side of home fries. Everything was delicious. I saw that they have Amoroso rolls so I want to try a hoagie or cheesesteak next time.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. If you're in a rush, call ahead.

I've been going to hungry A for I don't even know how long. Went last weekend for breakfast, and it was awesome. I love how the new operators have spruced up the interior. The food is still fantastic. It tastes exactly the same, and there are more options on the new menu.

I’m actually really irritated. I literally asked the lady at the register if they had turkey bacon she said yeah, so I ordered a turkey bacon & egg sandwich. Once I got to my destination I opened up my sandwich & it’s pork bacon. So I called and spoke to the manager and she was literally no help. Like I told her exactly what happened and she was just like “yeah we don’t have turkey bacon” so I told her that the lady at the register told me they did. If she would’ve told me they didn’t have turkey bacon I wouldn’t have gotten anything. But now I’m stuck with a sandwich I can’t even eat because I don’t eat pork. & im hungry asf which is pissing me off even more cause I don’t have time to get anything else atm. I don’t even leave reviews but I’m really irritated bc it didn’t seem like the manager wanted to even help me resolve the issue.

Started going to the Hungry A 50 years ago after bowling next door at Sproul Lanes, bit of nostalgia. Sat for lunch on Wed 1/9/24, the cheese steak was awesome. However in short order I noticed that the employees were not wearing gloves as they removed skin from a large bin of raw sausage, sliced lunch meat for a hoagie, working the grill and making sandwiches. I asked the one young man why nobody was wearing gloves, he said "we just ran out". I expressed my concern and let him know how important it is to wear gloves, shortly thereafter he came out of the back with a box of gloves. Great service and a great sandwich can be discounted with a health safety violation.
Thank you

New owners. Food is not as good as it previously was under the old owners. They were personable and fun. These new owners have ruined a special place.
