A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.

I went there yesterday and was pleasantly surprised since bowling next door had a long wait. My girlfriend and a friend popped in there and they were closing in a little bit but were very accommodating. The people there were super friendly and the food was excellent. It was a nice unexpected place to eat at.

First time here, Amazing breakfast sandwich’s and the owner was so friendly and nice! Really welcoming and so happy to tell us all about the antiques collected by his farther! Next time I’m here we’re definitely coming again! This place has such a nice sense of community while still welcoming the ‘non regulars’. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

First time going here and I definitely know this is my new go-to breakfast/lunch spot. The owner is front and center and it feels just like walking into your parents kitchen. The woman who cook/prep/serve are all attentive and I know care about the food they’re putting out which is a huge plus especially with an open kitchen environment. This is an intimate communal counter seating situation, which I believe always promotes better service/better experience in a diner setting. This is not for the Karen’s, and quite frankly THANK GOD.

UPDATE- Just went back for lunch AGAIN!!!we both had their Hoagies an Italian and a Turkey hoagie. Both were so meaty; we only finished half there and had the other halves for dinner.the wait is worth it!we chatted with other customers while we waited EVERYONE is so friendly!--------------------------=-------Just had lunch here! YUMMYwe both had their cheesesteaks with mushrooms and onions.piping hot and delicious! decent prices too.
