Ordered for the first time this past Friday to try their new menu. My 14 y/o had the lil’ Rita and said it was “so good it’ll make a grown man cry.” My 9 y/o had the mini plain pizza. She’s not usually a fan of pizza but ate 2 slices, so I guess that means she liked it. My husband and I did olive and pepperoni. I love that they use kalamatta olives instead of black olives! I do have to say, the name is a misnomer. Pizzas aren’t made in “batches”; pizzas are made to order. I get that the owner wanted to convey an artisanal, crafted, or gourmet connotation using the latest popular culinary buzzword, but it totally does not make sense in this context.
I finallly got a chance to try this spot out & I will say it is absolutely phenomenal ! I got the Rita & it’s one of the better ones i’ve ever had. Nice firm undercarriage, doughy crunch crust. Just amazing. I also didn’t get that post gluten grogginess I’d usually get from a pizza which is super rare.10/10 would recommend to everyone.
