Ichiban Seafood Buffet

It’s nice to have somewhere to sit down and still get food and drinks for under 20 bucks. Good selection of food and quality is what you’d expect. A wide variety of seafood options is appreciated. There’s also a soft serve machine rather than the individual ice cream cups you get most places around the greater Philadelphia area. This is my go to when I want a a meal with variety and I’m indecisive.

ICHIBAN BUFFET THEY REPLENISH THERE FOOD OVER THE OLD ONE THAT HAS BEEN SITTING OUT. IF, SPELLS ONTO THE BUFFET TABLE ,THEY BUT THE FOOD BACK IN! I GOT SEAFOOD POISON FROM THEIR CRABS FOR 10 DAYS! FOOD IS OVER COOKED, DRY, AND HEAVY SEASONED! KIDS PUT THERE HANDS IN FOOD AND PUT IT BACK IN DISH MANY TIMES, THEY NEVER CHANGE FOOD IT THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER! SEVERAL OCCASIONS THEY HAD NO PAPER SHEETS TO DRY HANDS! SERVERS DON'T WASH THEIR HANDS, I SEEN THEM MANY TIMES! I MENTIONED THIS TO THEM MANY TIMES! THEY BEG PEOPLE FOR TIPS! SAYING NEED MORE MONEY! I SEEN WHEN CUSTOMERS WANT CHANGE THEY SAY, MORE MONEY, COME ON MORE MONEY! I MENTIONED ALL THE COMPLAINTS SEVERAL TIMES TO MANGEMENT, COMPLETELY IGNORE YOU! THEY RAISED TGE PRICES WITH THE SAME FOOD! DIRTY DISHES, CUPS AND SILVERWARE ! SERVERS HAVE BAD ATTITUDES! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES FOR THE SAME PRICE AND BETTER QUALITY FOOD! YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR THERE! THERE ARE OTHER BUFFETS WITH BETTER QUALITY FOOD! OH! MANY PEOPLE HAVE SAID THEY EVEN GET THE DIARRHEA BEFORE THEY GET OUT OF PLACE!

Meh 🥴...service was almost argumentative with one waitress...wouldn't give a child the soda but took the receipt that shows that it was paid for...🙄😒 (groups of 8 or more automatically pay a gratuity--it shows) we sat with dirty dishes for a while..they came and got some but there was more than 6 soiled plates on the table at all times.😐
Cook at the teppanyaki station seemed upset because I didn't want butter in my food...(he had already squirted it on the grill before asking me) he had an attitude.🫤
Wasn't worth the cost or the aggravation...crowded like a corral...kids running around...just pure chaos.😵‍💫
Don't have to do that again.🥴

Tons of food options and the buffet is reasonably priced. My concerns were that the food was not particularly hot, no sesame chicken, and the fried rice was not the best. I prefer it to be made with white rice.

Ichiban is an old school buffet filled with an abundance of Asian & American foods. They have something for everyone. I enjoyed the seafood, beef and side dishes. The salad bar was fresh and filled with delicious items. My only complaint was that the waitress attempted to close out our table before we were done. Other than that it was a very enjoyable dining experience. I fully recommend visiting the restaurant and bring the entire family. Mom, Dad, Grands and all the children.

Plenty of table space not noisy and lots of different dishes and desserts worth the money every time I'm in Philadelphia I make this one of my stops
