It's nice to see how the new owner has cleaned up the place. The atmosphere is inviting. There are plenty of TVs with a variety of sports to choose to from. The bartender, Charlie, was personable which added to a pleasant experience. The kitchen has added some interesting items to the menu. The perfect local dive bar: gregarious staff, bargain-priced, but abundant beverages, busy pool table, good tunes on the juke box, sports on the TVs, unpretentiously comfortable environment, and fantastic French fries!!
Met a friend I haven't seen 16 months. We had a few beers. He's a die-hard Bud drinker. it's no longer served on tap. The distributor has experienced a shortage of various brands. I stayed with my go-to miller light draft. They've opened up an outdoor area since covid to accommodate non-smokers. It's a Nice set up with a bar, TVs, fans and patio roof. The lady bartender is friendly, attentive and personable.
