We had the opportunity to visit this wonderful brewery yesterday. The tour was wonderful, the food was delicious, and everyone was so friendly. A great shout out to Janet and oour tour guide Adyson. If you are in the area please make sure you take advantage of this venue. The tour is free and you also get 2 complimentary beers.
The food is absolutely fantastic ! Our waitress was so friendly and wonderful. Have wanted to come here for over twenty years and it was amazing. Their October Fest is In the top two beers that I have tried and I like lots of different kinds of beers ! It has a fantastic taste ! Can't wait to go back.
This place is awesome!!!! The beers are all good. The menu was nothing like I've ever seen and wow it was delicious ?. I wish I lived closer. It would be my go to place. Now I have to check my local distributors and try and get some Straub beer cause they are all very good.
Fantastic German food and great service! I got the bratwurst and my girlfriend got the Monte Cristo sandwich. Both meals were delicious! The bratwurst was equally good or better than what I had in Germany! The raspberry jam served with the Monte Cristo was crazy good!
This place is not one to miss. We frequent this place and enjoy it. They have inside and outside dining. We have been buying their beer for years and we were so excited when they opened this place. Their brewery is behind the visitors center where you can tour the facility or buy some beer. Beer to go is also available in the visitors center and cold in the taproom. There are lots of local wines and mixed drinks available. Check out their website for more info.
The Brewery Tour is Excellent & Educational. Our Lunch was Great and Our Server was A+. Highly Recommended
Very nice restaurant and bar.... great outside dining and beautiful. Operated/owned by the brewery. Beer and drinks are very good and cold. Prohibition beer was my favorite. Would like to see a few more menu options added. Reuban was very good. They give tours of the brewery. Tour guide at the end requested tips... kinda tacky. Recommended.
My first look at restaurants in St. Mary’s did not include this place. We would have come here first, had we known. What a nice place! I will be back. The beer and menu items were awesome! Come here first!
Great place !! My wife had the beet salad with grilled chicken and I had the grilled Cuban sandwich with Mac and cheese. Food was very good. The servers were all so friendly, especially our waitress Cassie, who was amazing!! Dining on the patio is so relaxing, and enjoyed the live music as well.
Always great food, fantastic beer, and the staff is polite and attentive. Love the gift shop. A must when visiting St. Mary’s. Wonderful family steeped in tradition.
Restaurantji Recommends
We always love their fresh made food offerings as well as the seasonal beers! Great gluten free choices too!!! Wonderful historic venue to enjoy the craft brewery experience in the PA Wilds <3 ?
Gift shop is very inconvenient to purchase items. Gift shop door is open but tap room is not open. How do you purchase anything??? My second trip trying to purchase for Christmas but will get something else. Will not stop back.
Great beer and brewery experience
Awesome setting next to the brewery. Restaurant and facility near as a pin. Food was excellent as was the cold beer. Service by the beautiful Sophie was the best. Ladies loved the gift shop and we had to stop after dinner at their Eternal Tap for a beer. I had heard this place ( restaurant) suffered after covid, maybe so, but it will be my first stop in the future with any trip near St. Mary's.
We had the shredded beef and pork melts. Excellent. They make the best "beer mustard". Wish they sold it to the public. The others had wraps and soup. Lizzie our server was excellent. Their menu is unique. Worth the trip!
