We had salads. our plates were loading with fresh vegetables, meats and cheese. The poppyseed salad dressing was a perfect choice. It did not cover the flavors in the salad, yet the dressing added an additional mild flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending selections. When in St. Mary's, plan to have a meal here. you will not regret choosing VPCS&C.
I hadn’t eaten here in a long while and thought I’d give it a try again. I ordered a club sandwich and pizza soup to go. The sandwich was delicious and I enjoyed the fresh fruit on the side. Pea pasta salad isn’t my thing but it’s not bad. The pizza soup was a weird idea to me, they were out of the tomato soup which is what I really wanted. Surprised that I actually liked the pizza soup. Everything tasted homemade and I’d definitely try again.

We came in for an early lunch on a Monday and were immediately greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread upon entering . There were 3 homemade soups available, two salad specials, and a panini along with a varied menu that surprisingly included several quiches. I had an Asian chicken salad and my husband had a club sandwich. Both were excellent and the service was both friendly and prompt. The decor was quaint and comfortable though not contemporary.
