A fun tasting experience with not a single bad choice on the menu! The ciders are all refreshing and vibrant - the type of experience you often enjoy when tasting higher quality wines. Treat yourself, go for the 6 cider flight, then order glasses or bottles of your favorite, and then order a bottle for the road! In a lineup without a bad choice, we particularly loved the Cinnacrisp (perfect between Halloween and February), White Out (Memorial Day through Labor Day), Sweet Cranoline (Valentine's Day). We also loved the Home Game Blues (anytime!). My wife isn't even a cider aficionado and she loves this place! Stay for a while and enjoy food trucks, live music and don't worry about bringing the kids. The staff is friendly and helpful, and if you want to venture outside the tasting room, the outdoor tent is heated during the winter months. A must-visit if you're in the State College area!

Had a nice visit to 814 Cider Works. The service was excellent and the two brothers were very personable. We had a flight of four ciders and all were very good. All ciders are made with locally sourced ingredients. I would definitely recommend this place, but be sure to check the website before going. They are on winter hours and only open the first and third weekends of a month.

814 Ciderworks at JL Farms Brewery is the perfect spot to stop whether you are sitting in for a drink or just getting a product to-go. The service is PHENOMENAL, each time we (my girlfriend & I) have gone, the employees are delightful and easy to talk with. The staff are all very knowledgeable about their products and give amazing recommendations. The first time we went, we shared a flight of ciders and the following two times we have stopped by for growlers to-go. Among our favorites are Sweet Cranoline, White Out, and Slapstick. The best part is that after you purchase a growler once, you can bring it back to be refilled for a lower price and they clean the bottle for you! Every experience we've had here has been lovely and we look forward to many returning visits!

Beautiful location, great cider, and exceptional Service. The servers may have been the most attentive we've had anywhere since COVID. It's a wonderful family run business with high quality products. What more could we want? Marin Eats was in as their weekend food truck and live music was a nice plus. We will definitely return to sample more ciders and enjoy more bonfires.

Wow, I had a great time here. My boyfriend and I like trying all kinds of ciders from different places. This was one of the best we have ever been to. The cider was excellent and the service was incredible. I wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

Staff are always friendly and professional. The cider is great with lots of sweet and dry options. The food truck that day was Happy Dishes which was fine and the meat was cooked well although not a big fan of super sweet BBQ.

We decided to hit a few cideries instead of the wineries. We ordered the flights of 6 to sample. There is a cider for everyone. I personally liked the tart and crisp ciders. The fellas that were serving up the ciders were great. The whole atmosphere of 4he cidery was awesome. We will be back our next trip to the area.
