If you are in State College, PA, and are over the age of 25, you're going to struggle mightily to find a place to drink that is not overrun with college undergrads. Antifragile is one of those places, with excellent craft brews on tap, attractive modern decor, two floors of seating, and a nice patio out front. The bartenders were cordial and knew the product, I greatly enjoyed the live music both nights that I visited, and had a friendly chat with one of the owners. Next time an academic conference leads me back this way, this is definitely one of the places that I'd come to hang out.
We tried Antifragile for the first time on a Friday night, and there was a group playing music. They have a limited selection of beers, but the ones we tasted were good and of good quality. Space is limited, but we found seats upstairs. Good service.

I went to Antifragile for the first time last night. Nice downtown spot with zero undergrads; definitely an adult bar. It's small, so if you want to ensure that your group has seats, you should arrive early. We started at the bar and eventually moved to an upstairs couch when there was space. Friendly staff + good ambience. I got 2 cocktails and preferred the whiskey sour; I'd get it again.

This place is phenomenal and a great addition to the Penn State brewery scene. They have packed a lot into what looks like a tiny space from the outside! Their kombucha is great, and I love their Fluffy Little Puppy DIPA.

This is one of my favorite places in State College. The brewery has been a much needed establishment for the community, bringing so many different people from the region together with great beer, awesome music and unforgettable times. The beer and kombucha are some of the best I’ve ever had. The cheesesteaks are delectable are shouldn’t be missed. The staff are some of the absolute best. If you want a place for an amazing drink and a relaxed friendly atmosphere, this is it.
