A favorite place for tasty Burgers. Super delicious. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again.

I like going here due to the oldies throw back interior. Average food and average service, but if you are looking for 50s/60s setting, I would definitely recommend it. One last thing, food prices are cheaper than most other restaurants in State College.

Sitting at the bar watching the kitchen staff, there are 5 of them in the kitchen cooking food. Only one cook is wearing latex gloves 3 if them have beards longer than a couple inches and none of them are wearing beard nets. 4 of them have two earbuds in their ears listening to music. One cook that isn't wearing gloves us putting food on the grill with one hand and flipping through his phone with the other. The food here is good but the cleanliness and the food preparation are horrific. I'm surprised nobody is getting food poisoning or hairs in their food.

Really great Burgers and Shakes! Just like they say in Bojack Horseman, nothing makes you feel like you're in the 80s like 50s nostalgia. Definitely get the Craz-E burger if you love great food, it's a burger on a glazed doughnut. 10/10 will go again.

Used to be one of my family's favorite places in State College but it has gone extremely downhill. Last time we were there, our baby burgers weren't cooked through - if you've been here before, you know how thin the baby burgers are - HOW were they not cooked?! Unfortunately we won't be returning.
Will never be back, 18% gratuity automatically charged to our bill for sub par service . And after talking to the evening manager who was also server.... Must be nice to determine your own tip.... And her arguing with me in front of the whole restaurant. She advised me that I could leave my name and number for the GM to contact me the next morning. To my surprise he didn't call me , I had to call him He was worse than she was .Fyi Babys is a burger and Shake joint. That's your name ... Not a fine dining restaurant. Gratuity is determined by the customer not the server and 18%. Is not Standard... Will not be back ever. Good luck staying in business with policy's like this and managers who act like this in a sevice industry....

Nice if your a college student. But for being a fiftys dinner it's gone down hill since I went there when I was in college. They need to close for a month and fix everything like trash stuffed between booths and walls. It used to be a great place but now you have to make sure you got what you ordered because either way your gonna pay for it.

It was a last minute let's stop in Baby's for a quick bite around 8:30 on a Friday night. We did not know that they closed at 9:00 until we walked in and the staff said come on in, no problem. This was our first time eating here with a new freshman in town and we were not disappointed! I had a classic double cheeseburger and added bacon with fries, both were delicious. My wife had the French dip, she said it was delicious but was a little light on meat though. Definently will be stopping back in the future!
