I understand why it takes so long - it's a small place and there's only so many employees that can fit. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and they waited until I went to pick it up to tell me they were out of the bagel I wanted, so they hadn't even started on it. This despite having my phone number! I didn't want to wait AGAIN, so I took the offered refund. Thing is in this situation, for goodwill if not to make the sale, I would've offered a rush job on a sandwich with any other bagel!
tl, dr: Food's good. Wait is borderline excruciating, but understandable. Service SERIOUSLY needs help.

My sister referred me to this bagel heaven in State College! I'm so happy experienced it for myself! The teamwork they have is impeccable, bagels are nice and fresh (made daily), and the atmosphere is calming and welcoming. Thank you so much, I look forward to eating here again! Om jiminy you've gotta taste their everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese! 😋😊

I really wanted to love this. Their name pulled me in and the friendly service was so warm and welcoming. I ordered a build your own bagel sandwich on Asiago; the egg sandwich came out barely lukewarm, the avocado wasn’t ripe and tasted gross, and the bagel was not toasted (like they didn’t toast it at all, not that it wasn’t toasted enough) and was very very very stale. It was so hard I ripped one bite off as best I could and chewed until my jaw hurt. I love bagels, I know they’re a tougher bread by nature, but unfortunately I actually couldn’t bite or chew it at all, I’m 39, no dentures. It was so hard and just not it. Sorry to the person who helped me, you were great but yeah, the food was awful, I threw it away after one bite, sorry :(

These bagels are amazing same with the staff and the atmosphere I can feel relaxed and comfortable at the caffe being able to take my seat inside out outside and I can order online or upfront or on their tablets over a 10/10 for me the menu is amazing too I recommend

The hangover bagel! With mayo? IS A TO GO!!! make sure you get scooped out tho! Place is awesome! A variety of coffee selection! Coffee Bon-Bon! Please! Ask for it if you a coffee lover! And if you know anything about bagels? You know you can make different variations of flavors with cream cheeses and meat!

Hi love love love Bagel Love Café. If you’re looking for a place to get bagels on a Sunday morning this is the best place to come. Everywhere else gets soooo crowded. And the bagels are the best in state college. Not only that the workers here are so kind and the definitely remember frequent faces. There coffee isn’t too bad either!
If you’re looking for a bagel recommendation, I recommend the Asiago bagel sandwich with Taylor ham. They thinly slice the Taylor ham and fry it up real good. It is so delicious!
Ordered online. Ready when arrived. Bagels were average. Had the walk of shame, for the price definitely needed more meat!!! Had an asiago everything with cream cheese. Barely any Cream Cheese and was melted and runny even though bagel wasn't toasted. *i like thick cold cream cheese.

Update type review. Not sure but seems like they’ve changed. I used to love this place but not sure if management changed recently or what. Last I went, atmosphere is different (went from modern upbeat pop and similar music to country), the service isn’t nearly as friendly and attentive, quality seems to be down, and randomly closes early. Hope it improves and gets back to how it had been since originally opening. Otherwise need to find a new go-to for breakfast and bagels.

Good food but they managed to screw up every item on the order. When asked about the issues, their answer was basically “tough luck” (incredibly rudely). Great place to go if you can’t decide what to eat. You can order something and they will make you something random.
