I called to place an order. When the person answered the phone they said “hello” so I confirmed that I was calling Brothers Pizza. I asked if I could place an order for delivery, I was told delivery didn’t begin until later- no worries, I said that I’d be happy to pick it up. “Do you even know where we are located” was the rude reply. When I responded he said “guess again!” And hung up. I seriously thought that I had called the wrong number and someone was messing with me so I reverse looked up the number. Imagine my shock to discover that it was in fact Brothers Pizza and that someone at a business would treat a potential customer like this. I will never attempt to order from them ever again.

Called to place a large order. I have never ordered here and had questions the person that answered was beyond rude. He hung up on me, called back and he continued his attitude saying are we going to play this game or order I'm busy...ended up not wanting to give business to a place like this.

Terrible Service & Unprofessional Owner
I had the worst experience at Brothers Pizza Hamilton Plaza. The owner took my order and when we both realized I had accidentally called the wrong number, he called me a waste and hung up the phone. I never attempted to cancel the order until the way he addressed me and ended the call. I did call back to say I didn't appreciate the way I was addressed and he chose to call me more inappropriate names and hang up the phone. This is not acceptable behavior from anyone. I never once raised my voice or said anything inappropriate. Very disgusted and will not return. The other Brothers Pizza family can have all my business in the future.

Well our pizza was supposed to be half pep and half pineapple but as you can see from the photo it must have been thrown around during delivery. The pizza had almost no sauce but the pepperoni and crust was very good. My salad was also $10 and smaller then my hand, missing the hard boiled egg that was listed as included. All in all for spending $60 on a pizza and miniature salad, this was not worth the money :( i was also supposed to have a roll come with the salad that was not included.
Hopefully i just ordered on a bad night because the pizza has great potential but delivery, price, and including everything listed needs to be improved

Food was tasty, service was good. But I ordered a slice with pepperoni and there were 4 small pieces on a big slice. See photo. I also got a slice with mushroom and that was loaded. I would still recommend going here. But be prepared for sparse meat toppings

Ordered a burger from this establishment, it was tiny and really substandard, hardly gave me any chips for the order as well. At least it was cheap. Still, just go to the other Brothers’ in town, much more value for your buck.

This is the closest Brother's Pizza to my workplace in town. They're all independently owned and operated, so they all vary a little. This one is a good location with NY style pizza that's the BEST of the four in town. Nothing beats NY style from New York, but Brothers is about as close as you can get to it in State College.

Love the crust, love the sauce, and love the amount of cheese they pile on for extra. "Extra" really means something to these people, just like the Northland Center Brother's location.

Five stars for the pizza, four to three stars for other food.

I've dined in, taken out, and received delivery from this place for many, many years. They're consistently good. Unlike some of the other Brother's in town, this one has consistently cooked their pizza perfectly.

Delivery is reasonable, from 30 to 45 minutes, but I've been dining in more often these days.

The owners are like a 'mom and pop' team. If you're a regular during the day, you'll be seeing them all the time. You might see other staff during evenings/weekends. The owners are great people once you get to know them. Other reviews mention interactions that were rude or abrasive, and I think that's due to the owner's short patience in dealing with problems/upset people, regardless of who's at fault. This area gets a lot of turnover from those visiting Penn State. But if you treat them with respect, they'll do the same. Heck, once they know you they'll even stop over and chat with you sometimes. Butch and Cathy are really nice people!

I know their decor isn't everyone's taste. You'll find references to the Grateful Dead, assorted hippie paraphernalia/peace symbols, photos of the owner's bee-keeping hobby, and even the leg lamp from Christmas Story (lol, love it!). At least it keeps things interesting. ?

I ordered a chicken cheesesteak but when I got home we found that there wasn’t any cheese on the CHEESEsteak. I also ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza. I’ve never seen a pepperoni pizza with so little toppings. I called back to Brothers on Hamilton Ave. I spoke with the lady who made my food. She told me that she would credit me $1.00 because that is what they charge for cheese. She also told me that they are only allowed to put 18 tiny slices on a large pizza and 20 on an extra large. I told the lady that she could keep the $1.00 and that we will never order another thing from them. The Brothers on Benner Pike puts the Brothers on Hamilton to shame.

Touching food with his bare hands, doesn’t care about cross contamination. Super rude and curt. Yelling to speak up and asking if that was so hard
