This review is being edited after I fought with Champs management for over a week trying to get someone to look into my situation. I visited here on July 2nd. The following week I noticed an extra $18 added to my tab after I left a cash tip. I did not write in a tip on that receipt. The food and service was great but I dont put up with this. Spoke to Greg the following Monday. He took down my info and told him the info. Then called again that Friday to check in. He said he hadnt gotten around to it but would have someone look at it when he got help later that day. Never heard anything back. Then called the following week and spoke to maybe the owner and addressed the situation to him. Not sure who he was and said Greg would be in later. Called later and was told he wasnt there. This had been 2 weeks after and not one call back to me. So I called my bank and told them and disputed the charge. I wanted to dispute the entire thing because an establishment who allows their employees to write in tips and does nothing about it doesn't deserve a damn dime from me. My wife's family might love this place and the food is great but the management team is as trash as penn states basketball team. They definitely need some ethics training and keep an eye on their staff.

Amazing food!!! Great service

We ordered the meat & cheese raviolis with the meat sauce and a burger — washed it all down with a blueberry cider and local beer. Not sure busy (because it was prior to football / school starting) but it had plenty of seating and TVs to come hang out with a crowd.

A group of 4 of came in on Monday, 8/11 around 2:30 PM. The bartender was friendly when I asked him for a drink menu. The restaurant was very empty. We sat there about 10 minutes and as the waitresses walked by we were never acknowledged or even made eye contact with.

Cool sports bar type restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Great beer selection. Hot chicken sandwich was excellent. Good service.

If you want to be sat outside expect long wait times. Perfect weather and when I received the food I asked for another beer and practically finished my food prior to getting it. My spouse got the chicken Alfredo and it was bland and the noodles hard. Server was great she tried. Good for beer and wings that's about it

Very accommodating, food was fantastic. We went on a Tuesday and it was PACKED! If you don’t mind a loud crowd it’s perfect!

Overall the place is really good, but the only thing I dislike is their prices aren't the cheapest but besides the prices the rest of the restaurant is great.

We were in from out of town doing tether rides at the Way Fruit Farm (you should check it out). We went here because it was open late and a few locals recommended it. First, the food was awesome we had the Ruben, a burger, and a chicken salad. Ruben was probably one of the best we ever had. Our waitress was extremely polite helpful and great. The best part was a fight broke out. The staff handled it perfectly calling the cops and separating the parties. Our waitress was even kind enough to explain to use the entire situation. Like I said, great service! After we were done eating we walked outside to see no less than 8 cops laying on one of the fighters, the main instigator. I was lucky enough to have the same shoe size so I got a pair of free flip flops he had ran out of. So to recap, really good food, awesome friendly and helpful service, and live entertainment. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Can’t wait to come back in town next year!!!!!

This place is a steady experience even after not being there for 4 yrs. Food is good quality and consistent. Service was very good. Seated, a few mins til menus arrived and server introduced self. Came back within 5 min for drink order and food order. Atmosphere is a sports bar so fairly loud.
When in State College, you should put this place on places to visit.

Great place for sports enthusiasts. Basically it’s Overpriced bar food. Nothing special. Ordered wings well done and they came out the opposite. Server Molly was great - but food mediocre and overpriced for fried stuff. 2 beers and an order of 10 wings - $42.00.

FYI. Even though This is a chain restaurant and they charge 3% if you use a credit card. That was disappointing-

I didn't eat anything, so I can't taste the food... but the service here was outstanding. I wish I had caught the server's name so I could give her a shout-out, but I noticed all around that the staff seemed relaxed and cohesive - sign to me of great management. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was a bit crowded. But it was actually very comfortable even given those factors. Along with the crowd was the chatter.. but still even that didn't take away from the atmosphere of being comfortable. Absolutely a great place to go for a nice night out.
