The cod was excellent. The mac and cheese was either spoiled or the recipe is abysmal. I had to pitch it. I have read other complaints about the mac and cheese. What gives? It doesn’t take a Michelin Star chef to change the recipe.

In a town lacking good fried chicken, C&C is ok, but it's not great fried chicken. On the good side, it's cooked to order, so my 4 thighs came out hot, crispy, and fresh. Onion rings were good with a light breading reminiscent of Chinese breaded shrimp. On the meh side, the breading on the chicken is a bit thick but tasty. Fried are pedestrian. Chicken sandwich is 2 tenders in a bunch. Passable but no wow factor. We will go back and try more. Order online to speed up the wait.

Stopped into Cluck and Catch on a rainy day and was seriously impressed! I ordered the haddock plate, which came with two sides. I got the fries and mac and cheese. Everything was top-notch.
The haddock was massive, perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, some of the best fried fish I’ve had locally.
The tartar sauce deserves its own shoutout: flavorful, tangy, and easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The mac and cheese was made with real cheese, seasoned beautifully (not spicy, just flavorful), and incredibly creamy. The fries were golden, crunchy, and just right.
The service was equally great! The guy at the counter was super helpful and kind, making the whole experience even better. The place was nearly full when I arrived, which speaks volumes.
Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a great local spot to eat, Cluck and Catch is definitely worth checking out. I’ll absolutely be back!

Absolutely delicious!! We got the cod fish and chips and enjoyed every bite. The man at the front was extremely kind and helped walk an elderly woman to her car after she finished her lunch, now that is 5/5 service.
