Ah, Cold Stone Creamery. A name synonymous with joy, decadence, and milkshakes, right? Well, not on this particular day. I strolled in with the lofty goal of getting a cookie and cream milkshake, a treat that could potentially solve all of life’s problems. But, alas, I was met with a shocking revelation: “No milkshakes today.” Naturally, I did what any reasonable person would do—I questioned this ice cream-based betrayal. Enter Staff Member #2, who assured me that milkshakes *were* indeed available. Finally, hope. But then, as if the universe itself had conspired to dash my dreams, Staff Member #1 swooped in to “correct” the situation, essentially slapping my optimism in the face and reaffirming the tragic truth. Milkshakes were a no-go.
I was now faced with a critical decision: Should I leave in tears or embrace the "small bowl of coffee ice cream with Snickers" they offered as some sort of consolation prize? I opted for the latter, hoping that maybe, just maybe, the Snickers would be liberally swirled in with the coffee ice cream, providing a sweet distraction from my broken milkshake dreams. Spoiler alert: They weren’t. Barely a sprinkle of Snickers, just enough to remind me of the milkshake that could have been.
If there’s any justice in the world, I implore someone from corporate to descend upon the State College location, undercover style, like *Undercover Boss*, and get to the bottom of this milkshake conundrum. Because frankly, I deserve answers. And more Snickers.

Very friendly staff,, and delicious ice cream,
Very friendly staff,, and delicious ice cream,
Well, on the review I had to select take out-because there were no chairs. When we moved here we were happy to find a cold stone. My family was excited to have ice cream-which we ate in the car-on a freezing night in Jan. They site some COVID related reason, seems lazy and ridiculous to me.
Have been a satisfied cold stone customer until lately. My last two visits have been HORRIBLE. I will not return, will not. We went tonight December 30 and the 29th, and the worker was truthfully incompetent. I told her my phone number for my rewards account three times and she still didn’t understand and had me look behind the counter to make sure she understood me. We got it pulled up and then she didn’t understand because I didn’t have rewards point to redeem, and had to explain to her that yes I don’t but each purchase gives me rewards points. She could not get my gift card number entered properly so after standing there for 15 minutes I just paid the total and left. The customer service was previously amazing, but until this worker gets some help I will not be returning.

Good icecream
Good ice cream and friendly staff. I want to particularly commend the honesty of one of the employees. I didn't get his name but he was working the evening of 12 July. I inadvertantly entered the cost of the ice cream in the tip window on the card reader. He immediately noticed my mistake and refunded me that amount and then ran the charge again. This might seem like a small thing, but I know for a fact it wouldn't happen at other shops. Bravo to him.
Best ice cream of the state college

Delicious, but very small quantities for price.
Very average ice cream you could get from grocery store
Wow amazing after going to 2 other places first i was very happy to find the most amazing banana chocolate milkshake and my son said 5 stars for his chocolate reese milkshake will be back!
I manage local businesses, sometimes like to reward my employees with ice cream from here, we’ve been doing this for years. Lately, some employees started not wanting to go get the ice cream because we would walk in with a list of the order and the workers would get overwhelmed and become rude.Tonight I sent someone to go get six orders. I got a call after a half an hour of waiting in line, saying that they were done making shakes for the night. I walked over to see if I can figure it out, and saw that all the lights were turned out, so they would appear closed from the outside. After standing in the front of the line for about 10 minutes, in the dark, someone finally told me that there was nothing they could do. I asked what would’ve happened if I ordered online and she said she didn’t know. This was hours before close.I understand staffing issues, and it’s a college town but this seems to be a repeating issue that I hope could get fixed.
Waited 40min for the only working to make the order i had for Doordarshan. SUPER SLOW. Did not talk or interact with customers. Refused to work at a normal pace. Very very bad service. Recommend finding somewhere else.
