Most employees working here are always quite confused due to the language barrier, in turn, that sometimes results them in making frantic mistakes.

I placed a pick up order for 2 grilled chicken quesadillas… $20 later i get The SMALLEST quesadillas I have ever seen… for crying out loud my bag of chip’s weighed more than the 2 quesadillas that are $8 each. This is my first and last time going to this restaurant.

I get this is a college town where kids are used to burritos leaking all over hell and being apathetic, but wow, these were the least interested employees I've ever seen. My burrito leaked all over, but instead of rewrapping it, they just put on another layer of foil, making three layers of leaky burrito instead of two. Food was fine, but the service was a big turnoff.

I got a burrito bowl and the portions are very small. For $10 you are not getting much. The flavor was alright but not anything you can’t get from those spice packs you get from Walmart. Atmosphere was not one I wanted to be at nor did it feel “Mexican.” If it had any Spanish elements it was a scorpion. Atleast Yallah has better decoration and seating. Plus they have better workers. I’m definitely not going back as I would rather go to Lupitas or Yallah. Plus their cleanliness is questionable.

Not a bad, Chipotle style Mexican restaurant. I had a Steak Mexican Bowl. The portion was enormous. There were plenty of fresh ingredients to choose from, including corn, jalepeno peppers, cheese, black beans, rice, and lettuce. Unfortunately, the steak was dry and tasteless. The order came quickly, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and spacious. A very good, but not great place for Mexican food.

Amazing food, if you’re hungry and looking for a good bite this is a good bang for a buck. Get a bowl with a tortilla on the side and it can easily be 2 small meals or 1 hugeee meal. Went here after a long day of moving my sister into college and didn’t disappoint. Go back every single time I’m there! Lots of vegetarian options. You can get their super tasty guac and creamy queso for free!

Service is nice and friendly

I appreciated all the fun hot sauces to try out.

One of the best burrito places I have ever eaten at. The guacamole is absolutely top-notch. In my opinion, it is better than Chipotle, and Moe's.

Parking: You either have to walk here or find a small spot along the curb.

My friend and I went to El Jefe's last night for dinner around 9 PM. The place was empty, with three people working behind the counter and a lady at the register. It's a Chipotle-style restaurant, and I had to choose my ingredients. I noted them down on my phone since I couldn't remember all the names. While telling them the ingredients, they could not understand my accent (I'm an international student, and they didn't seem like they were native speakers). After repeating my order in English and then using the Spanish names as mentioned on the menu, they started laughing, snickering, and being outright disrespectful. This was unsettling, but I continued. Eventually, it reached the last guy, and when I asked him to add roasted veggies, which were at the previous counter, he started yelling at me, slammed the takeout box shut, and said it was not part of his counter. I politely asked if he could move it to the previous counter (he just had to slide the box), but he muttered something under his breath and said I should not do this again. I felt extremely unsafe and felt like they were being slightly racist.

They treated my friend (who is international too) in the same way and it was extremely uncomfortable. We were initially going to dine in but left because we felt micro aggressions directed towards us.
