Salad was ok. Good portion and maybe a little over priced but good option to bar food.
But, the servers are not attentive, not kind, not helpful, and acted like I was an annoyance the past three times I tried it. I’m done. They open late, close early, and do t communicate this on the website.
My guess is the owners don’t know this all the time, but the workers are doing this when they can get away with it. I will certainly try again, but maybe just one more time.

Rude staff, dismissive.
As a whole food plant based vegan I ordered the “Own it”. Lots of yummy toppings to choose from. You choose your own - up to four - additional toppings cost extra. Portions are huge and satisfying. I added chickpeas, seasoned tofu and edamame for protein plus lots of veggies and some walnuts on a kale and mixed greens base. When I’m back in State College, this will be a go-to place for me for sure!
Really good. Was looking for a place to grab a salad on the way to the hotel, and ordered ahead. Really good salads, very tasty, and huge servings.

If you're looking for a salad the size of your head and loaded with toppings, this is the place. You can order directly from the menu, mix up a menu item or do a 'create your own.' There are tons of options for toppings, protein and dressing. I particularly like that they ask you if you'd like light, medium or heavy dressing.
I'm particularly a fan of the las cantinas salad with crispy chicken.
There's also a selection or pre-made options if you're in a rush or want something small.
Vegetarian options: Lots of protein options, including meat alternatives and eggs.
Dietary restrictions: Every salad can be made without meat, dairy or egg if needed.

I don’t usually write reviews but the hygiene of the place needs to be checked. I ordered a bowl today and all of the ingredients were uncovered before the person came in to take my order and by the chicken section there was a large fly (not the regular house fly) hovering by the food. Flies can transmit diseases by landing on the food that is being served which clearly was not covered. Other than that, there was just food leftover litter around the whole place. I tried to eat a bit but I was so disgusted that I left and threw the whole bowl I bought in the trash. I am truly disappointed and frankly disgusted by the standard of hygiene that the place was kept at.
I appreciate that they are trying to offer an alternative to 'pub grub' that seems to be what most of the nearby restaurants are serving, but, I'm sorry, this wasn't what it could be. The chicken add-in was the driest, most overcooked chicken I've been served in any restaurant, ever. Much less a fast casual competitor in the same space like Chopt or Sweetgreen. And some of the other options were disappointing too. The so-called 'roasted corn' was the saddest little specks of corn you can imagine. If they were roasted, they were too small to see any roast marks. It truly tasted more like canned corn that had been microwaved for 3 minutes.
Avoids a 2 star review by the portions being generous.

I have eaten here many times and the salads are delicious. My favorite is the Backyard BBQ, which comes with breaded chicken, cheese, corn, and bacon bits. If that’s not your thing the menu is pretty flexible. It is easy to make substitutions when you want to and the wait is fairly short. They also tend to have a great dessert available if you want it, with the s’mores bars being a personal favorite. There isn’t a lot of space to eat there, so I assume most people just take it with them. I did enjoy meeting a friend here but if we had third person with us they’d either have to stand or we’d have to go somewhere else.It would be great if they could come up with a way to reuse bowls, especially for people eating in. The single use plastic bowls seem a little wasteful.Overall a great salad with a convenient location and rapid turnaround. I’ll be back :).

Went here all the time as a student for a healthier option and I have to say it became my go-to spot for something refreshing and tasteful. Always felt great to eat post-gym and I recommend to anyone who wants a salad that gives you the healthy option you want and also leaves you feeling more than satisfied. Was just back visiting and stopped in to grab my favorite and the quality is still top notch. Absolutely recommend this local gem.

My family has eaten here on a regular basis, both takeout and dine in. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Food is always consistent and ingredients are fresh. Prices are high but portions are huge so you definitely are getting great food at a reasonable price.
