Out of all the places I have visited, this was definitely one of the worst restaurants I have been to. The portions are skimpy, the workers are rude, short-tempered, and overall angry, and the food was lousy and cheap. I would certainly not recommend eating here to anyone whatsoever.

Kid-friendliness: They are not friendly to adults, so they are Friday not friendly to children.

At first I was disappointed at the skimpy servings. One hour and a rapidly advancing case of food poisoning later, I think I should be careful what I wish for.

Sorry, don't usually like to criticize locally owned places, but the poke bowl I got here was simply not very good. The salad that came with it should have been tossed a few days ago. Rest of the ingredients just did not look or seem fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Lots of potential - but Penn State students deserve a great poke place!

We chose to order from here because of the good deal on three rolls. We added on an order of fried rice, and had a delicious dinner. My husband picked up our order and said he was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside.

The food is mediocre, the service is terrible, if you think I have a low voice, you can tell me instead of mocking me with your colleagues in front of me. Will not come again, I don't want to order a meal and be scolded by an old lady. Sincerely wish you a prosperous business.

Used to work here so take my words for what it's worth. The food is good but they put too much sugar in everything. This is what makes it so addictive. Also, the line is very inefficient so customers can get easily confused with their order. They give out tiny portions. I recommend choosing Kondu. Other than that... yeah there is the notorious mean old lady who works there who sometimes yells at customers.

STAY AWAY! Went there with my wife, daughter and son-in-law for Father’s day. We all had different Hibachi dishes, I had chicken myself. It was OK, nothing special or to rave about. Since we were staying in a hotel, we gave our leftovers to our daughter and went back for the night. About a half an hour later I was sick, nausea, stomach pain, the works! We called our daughter to warn them not to eat mine and found out that my son-in-law was sick too! He had the shrimp! I didn’t feel right again for like 3 days. I should have called the health department… NEVER AGAIN!

I can’t believe we had not tried this place earlier, shame on us for not doing so. This place is fantastic. I love the interior of the restaurant, and the sushi is awesome. If you just want some hibachi then your in luck because that’s just as amazing. They have your standard drinks off hot green tea, soda, and water but if you wanted to bring your own sake you can. If your visiting State College you owe it to yourself to stop by you won’t be disappointed.

One of the ladies is very mean :( poke bowls are alright, I only go here because they accept meal plan. Teas are a little too sweet for me and they don’t have boba.

Had heard good things about Sakura take out, but last night gets an F. Ordered online at 5:30 for 6:30 pick up. At 6:30 I get in a socially distanced line with masks waiting to pick-up inside the door one person at a time. So far so good. My turn to step inside: 1. No employees masked except the woman bringing out take orders. Another maskless employee talking on the phone and both sushi chefs without masks. 2. When I gave my name there was a delay, then she brings a printout of my order which I confirm is correct. She says 1 minute. I stand inside among maskless employees for 5 minutes. A takeout order is brought to the table I am standing in front of but she says it's not mine. The next customer walks in mask under nose to pick up and pay for his order. 3. At this point it's clear they had never started my order and were only preparing it now (1 hour 15 minutes since order was placed) but no communication from staff. 4.I step outside to wait as I am growing uncomfortable with exposure inside and the lack of social distancing at the pickup table. Finally dashed in to pick up my or order 30 minutes after I arrived. 5. Never going back. It's unsafe and service was awful.
