Super tasty late night pup fare. They were really nice about putting together a sandwich for me that wasn't exactly in the pick your deli option.

Food was great. Seemed very understaffed. Bartenders were great, but they were swamped and couldn't keep up.

This place is hard to beat with it's second to none quality meals and appetizers. Cattered business events try Olde New York. Some where last minute with the family stop off at Old New York and finally 6pm just getting off work gotta catch your teams kick off in 20 mins. with its amazing wing options and wide variety of beverages to enjoy Old New York is the place to be. Where even if your team loses your experience there still makes it a win. Hope to see you there next time ?✌️?

Food was good, service was amazing! We brought a group of around 30. They set aside a large area for us. Did a great job of keeping orders straight and the food was great!

Met a small group for lunch here. It was only my second visit and that had been many years ago. I was a huge fan of Schnitzels Tavern when we lived in Bellefonte and was looking forward to some good eats again.Upon arrival, the place was packed which was surprising given it was a weekday. My friend and I were immediately shown to our reserved table where others from our group were seated. Jeremy K., our waiter, quickly arrived and took our drink orders. Looking over the menu, I was torn because there were so many yummy items listed. Even the daily special of skewered shrimp sounded tempting.I decided to go a bit light and ordered The Dipper sandwich. Most of the group seated were going for the big hitters, the schnitzel, but since I'm not a big luncher, I decided it might be too heavy for me.Food arrived promptly considering our table size of eight and the number of other patrons packing the house. My shaved prime rib with melted mozzarella on a soft roll was outstanding. The au jus for dipping was tasty and just the right touch. The only criticism I had, and it's just my personal taste, would be having a nice smear of horseradish or a spicy creamy mayo to go on the sandwich. But it really didn't matter and I enjoyed every bite. My side option was a nice potato salad. House made per Jeremy K. and it was a good choice.Others at our table enjoyed their schnitzel meals. After seeing the size of their plates, I'm glad I stuck to my sandwich. A few got the shrimp special and it looked phenomenal. No complaints heard either. Some at the table ordered dessert - an Irish type cheesecake. Others got it to go. From what I saw (and heard), it was divine. My to go order was the Brat Plate that I was taking back to hubby for his supper. Two sausages, sour kraut, and a large potato pancake. Let me just say it was very much enjoyed by my PIC.Bathroom very clean and well stocked. And service excellent. Jeremy K. was very friendly and attentive. We all left happy.

Our Olde New York experience was perfect as always. Good food, good service and moderate prices. We also got a table that accommodated my mobility issues and a staff members turned the fire place on - just for us. The only issue we have is that it gets loud at dinner time. A late lunch is a better choice for a meeting with friends.

I had never been there before. Went at lunchtime and ordered the Ruben Fries as an appetizer. Absolutely delicious. They'll change your life. I also ordered the Bavarian Schnitzel which came with spaetzle and rotkohl. Very generous with with their portions.Interesting blend of a restaurant. All of their sandwiches are big deli sandwiches named after places in NYC. The specialties have German cuisine. No matter who you bring, you'll be able to find something for everyone. If you're visiting State College or Penn State and don't want to deal with the traffic and congestion of downtown, head up Rt. 26 to Olde New York (just minutes away) and you won't have to worry about parking or crowds. It's located in the Giant plaza.Parking: No problem parking.Kid-friendliness: I saw family with young children. High chairs, boosters, and kids' menu available.

Food was mediocre. Service was bad. Sat at the bar for 40 minutes (how long it took for my food to come out). After getting initial drink no one came by to ask me if I wanted another. Calamari was bad. Brooklyn sandwich had no real flavor. May have been an off night but I could not recommend.
