I just had the best experience here. After a mishap with a different Panera location I showed up here and received excellent service! The manager was so kind and accommodating. They even offered me a free bakery item! This is the best Panera in the area!

This place is fine. Personally, this was the worst Panera experience I’ve had, and I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. When I ordered and received my sandwich, it was cold and didn’t have any bacon or cream cheese (which was part of the sandwich at default and was basically half the meal without it).

Perhaps there is trouble staffing at the end of spring semester with this location but there was trash all over the floor indoors and outdoors. Tables were dirty, bathrooms were filthy and had no soap, so no one could be washing hands at this location. The staff looked actually distressed and stressed, perhaps not enough staff available? We each ordered soup which was fine but the place was not ok for eat-in and I worried when I realized that people were working without soap. I've never seen a Panera location in such poor condition.

It’s in downtown State College. As expected, during school semesters (Fall & Spring), you’ll get more variety of services (warm vs. cold) and atmosphere (quiet vs. loud). But during summer or winter times, it is a nice place to hangout.

I made the mistake to stop here for a "quick sandwich" without first reading the reviews and without knowing how to check the waiting time. After 25 minutes wait there are still 15 orders before mine will be processed. I will never come here again. Stay away! UPDATE: After 40 minutes wait the buzzer starts buzzing, I go hopeful to the counter but no. False alarm, there are 10 orders (!!) before mine, I wonder if I will ever get it...

45 mins!!! After placing the order I waited 40+ min at the restaurant for my food AND yes FOOD WAS NOT READY YET. I had to leave for the class and came back after the class one hour later, and SURPRISE your food is GONE!! If you want to grab a quick lunch, don't bother coming here, better grab some snacks from the nearby CVS.

Our company ordered catering for lunch; it was delicious and delivered right on time. Jason left a nice little note explaining why he didn't put the dressing on the salad (because it would get soggy) but instead left me plenty of sides of ranch. Shout out to Jason, you made my day!

Had not been in a Panera since before covid. Was very surprised at the appearance of the restaurant. Didn't appear clean or inviting. Got the Mediterranean chicken full sz salad. Limp greens, chicken that you could buy in the precooked packaged sliced pieces at any grocery store, mostly hard grains and no humus. Definitely not anywhere near the quality of Panera I remembered. However the staff was very nice. I won't go back again.
