Food is spot on delicious. Never had a problem with ordering online and even the scheduled pickup times, are on time. There seens to be two guys in there that are a little standoffish, who can also be a little short and tend to ignore you when you come in. I have stood there a few times and they didnt acknowledge me for a couple minutes. Other than that, can't complain!

I ended up walking to my car with someone elses carry out order. I noticed the wrong name on the lable as I was sitting it in the back seat. I jad to tale it back in and get the correct food. Also the simple act of buying a couple of sodas was a huge hassle. The guy wasn't sure how to ring them up. On top of that, there was an employee taking her cigarette break right next to the front entrance. That's always pleasant to have to walk through. However, despite everything, the food was very good.

Called at 11am to order 10 pizzas for a children’s birthday party that was to take place at 4:15pm that same day. We had the venue until 5:30 and after no pizza had arrived by 4:45 we started to call, put on hold multiple times for 10-15 minutes. Finally got through at 5:10 and they were still making our order. Absolutely terrible service, you had almost a 5 hour notice to make and deliver 10 pizzas and you couldn’t handle that. Order elsewhere, especially if time sensitive.

This store is a scam. It took an hour and a half from when I ordered the pizza to when they say it was delivered. The pizza was never delivered and they would not call the DoorDash driver even though I ordered it directly through Papa Johns. When I called to ask about it the manager was very rude, not apologetic, offered to do nothing and I never got the pizza. They stole money from me

The last 3 times I’ve ordered a large pizza for pickup I’ve received what looks like a medium pizza. Even the time I ordered an extra large pizza it looked like a medium pizza. Not crazy about the service here either.

The food is still papa johns so pretty good. Extremely disappointed to see the phone calls being outsourced. I can't call a local store? I can't speak with someone and understand them? There has to be a delay? Just doesn't make sense and makes me either want to call somewhere else or just go in.
The staff are always on point. Papa john’s shouldn’t charge more for the sauces unless the customer is “taking advantage” etc.

Do you want the RUDEST service in town? Then Papa John's on North Atherton, State College, PA is the place for you! I used to order pizza there—not because of the taste, but because it’s the closest pizza point to my home for takeout. I ordered online and received an email saying it would be ready in 18 minutes. Then I got a notification 20 minutes later that it was ready. I arrived after 30 minutes, but the cashier couldn’t find my order at first. After some time, he finally found it, but told me it wasn’t ready and asked me to wait another 3-5 minutes. I was in a rush, so I told him I had received a notification saying my order was ready and that I needed to leave ASAP.
When my order was eventually ready, a different staff member, who was preparing the pizzas, SLAMMED them onto the counter without calling my name and said, 'Here it is, and you get a coupon.' The look on his face was angry and hostile. I was shocked, so I told him he could treat customers more politely since it wasn’t my fault I received the notification early. At that moment, the cashier came over and told me, "You don’t need to order from here anymore. FLY FROM HERE!"
That’s the end of me ever ordering from Papa John's. NEVER AGAIN!
