Last night, I came here to watch live music. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded, so I could enjoy the music while ordering "The Karen" for my drink. It tasted great and refreshing. I also ordered some snacks, which were delicious as well. The service was good, and overall, this place is worth the visit.
Come on, it's the Phyrst - gotta go 5-stars for this State College institution. So the floor might be a little sticky, and the place reminds me of a scene from Silence of the Lambs, but besides that, you just gotta love this relic. Just grab a Guinness here if nothing else.
This place has really improved lately! Apparently they got rid of their incompetent manager and got some fox named Kyla to run it and she is killing it! It's so much cleaner, the bartenders are so much faster, and the atmosphere is starting to get fun and happy again! Thank goodness for Kyla!
