Came in expecting a Pittsburgh Primanti Brothers experience. Was disappointed. The service was slow. The food was not bad, but not to the Primanti standard of the Pittsburgh shops. The atmosphere felt a lot more like a bar that happens to serve food than a restaurant that also serves alcohol. We also stopped by late last night for some food, and they closed the kitchen at 10:00 pm on a Friday night.
Great food , fast service, great drinks too. The place to go when in PA
Good bar!
You will find no other restaurant/bar in State College that creates a vibe like this space. From the music to the food to the drinks, this place is on a tier of its own. The manager has truly built this place into a home for everyone from fraternity members and athletes to the families that come to visit their kiddos. I could go on and on, but you just need to check it out yourself. If you want to see it come alive, then plan a weekend visit during Penn States various sports seasons 💪🏽
Terrific as always. They even have Gluten free bread 🥖!!!!
this establishment is more than exhilarating. quite literally the best restaurant ive ever been in. and turning into a bar at night, doesn’t disappoint. the atmosphere and people that make up this place especially Ashton the manager and Matty the bartender are genuinely incredible people. the staff words harder than they should, so attentive and kind. wouldnt choose to spend a day out in state college anywhere else!
We came in as a group 23-25 for a bball tournament on 3/15/25. Ashton and his staff were phenomenal. They were on point for the entire meal. I couldn’t ask for better service. I wish more restaurants were as efficient at serving this size of group. You can tell this was a well trained and veteran staff. Thanks for everything!
I get that it's a college town, so we weren't expecting much. However, when you tell your server, there's something wrong with your drink because there's clearly no GM floater in your Top Shelf Margarita....and they go back in the corner by the kitchen and start messing with their phone, not a way to get a good tip or return customers. 🙄
At least the guy working the door was doing a great job of making us in the older crowd feel young, and consistently carding everyone even though we were clearly over 50. Thank you for that!! 😎
Really good service, the burger was severely undercooked though unfortunately. Hopefully next time it will be better. The coleslaw was relatively healthy and not too saucy like other ones are sometimes.
Reuben, bread was soggy, and flavor was not craveable, French fries were not hot and overly salty, boneless wings had hard crust and lacked flavor. Wife kind of liked chicken sandwich. Overall, not very enjoyable for us.

I can’t recommend Pman’s enough! We stopped by at 1 AM, and despite the late hour, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Jamie went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for customers stood out and made the night even better. Whether you’re there for a quick bite or hanging out late, Pman’s and their incredible staff (especially Jamie!) will make it worth your while. We’ll definitely be back!
I love this place! the workers are awesome and so welcoming!❤️
Best place ever
I was so disappointed the sandwiches when so tasteless I ordered the roast beef and cheese there was very little on the cheese sandwich the coleslaw tasted like plain cabbage the bread was soaked in French fry grease
My husband ordered the pB Rubin same situation little cheese very little sour krout and grease soaked bread.
Visited the state college restaurant, and will never return. we was attending a penn state game, and my son and I wanted to go out to eat before our drive home (2 hours away).. however every place had a huge wait (as expected due to the game).. I called to check their wait time and said they had none but u have to be 21 or accompanied by an adult/parent to come in since it was past 8 p.m... so my son and I went to eat only to be told we had to leave, bc my son wasn't 21... made it 3 steps inside the door.. called and spoke to manager after I had gotten back to vehicle, he was extremely helpful and also said my son was around in their.... then his manager said no he was not unless they was over 21..... way to ruin a 10 year old evening from a game.... suppose to be a family restaurant 😂😂 ... do better.
