Two for lunch on a Thursday. We were seated quickly, although the servers were quite busy and it took a while to order. They have lunch specials at reasonable prices (see my photo of this menu page). Food came out quickly and was tasty. Servers refilled our waters many times throughout the meal. Overall a good experience.
I forgot how good the food was after not visiting for so long. The bento boxes are very generous amounts of food. I got the teriyaki beef and my wife got the chicken katsu. Both come with soup, salad, vegetable sushi, rice, shrimp tempura, root vegetable tempura, and shu mai all of which turned out really tasty.
I'm from California, and was very happy to find great Japanese food in State College, PA.Best sushi in town! Reasonable prices, great service, authentic Japanese cuisine - 5 stars
