This place is amazing! The eamen! The rice bowls! The buns! The calamari! If I'm not feeling well, I'm hungry for the spicy miso. If If it's warm out, I want the cold ramen. If it's a cold day, I crave the hot ramen.
The service is quick. The restaurant is semi-crowded but very authentic.
My group will travel nearly an hour just to eat here.
Parking: There is a parking garage on Frasier Street. It's half a block from Tadashi's. We park and walk.

There are two locations now. This one only has ramen, not sushi. I wanted extra meat in my soup and they wouldn’t allow that. Not sure why since they did that in the past. Unfortunately the soup is now bland.
been a regular since their opening. One of my favorite and go to places as well. Excellent food and fantastic services, always open to feedbacks as well and eager to improve themselves (but there are always rude customers who always think about themselves and think the universe revolves around them). Now I have moved out State College after more than a decade, I will miss this place.
side note: they don't offer takeout with Ramen because noodles will get very soggy and become inedible/cooked noodle sitting in a container with the heat also degrades the quality, shouldn't need a phd to figure this out lol.

I wanted to place an order but the person behaved very rudely. They told me they would not take order for noodles to go and I have to dine in which is fine. I simply asked how busy it is looking at the moment. The reason is my wife delivered a baby recently and she had craving for ramen but she cannot come to the restaurant . The plan was I would just dine in and take the ramen. I simply wanted to know how busy it is looking so that I don’t have to leave home for hours with my newborn and his mother at home. But the lady at the phone could not be bothered to answer that. I don’t know how a decent service person could behave this way, even more so a woman. I hope the restaurant owner sees my review and evaluates the behavior of the said employee.

The food was very good and the atmosphere was very nice. The Ramin was great as was the appetizers we ordered. The server, even though there was only one, stayed very consistent on checking on the tables as well as keeping us topped off in water. My only gripe was that I feel I got charged the 18% gratuity for a large party when there was only just two of us. And it wasn't reflected on the original bill they presented at the table, just after I paid. It a nice place but i recommend keeping an eye out under bill versus what's on their card reader.

Tadashi is a great and quick ramen spot right next to the school. Their fast service and delicious broth wont disappoint for lunch or dinner. Their spicy miso ramen with a side of gyoza is a great choice or any of their donburi bowls. They have been here a long while for a reason, though they can get a bit crowded on the weekends. Oh, and BYOB for thise interested in a few libations while they eat.
Vegetarian options: A few veggie options but not many.
Parking: No parking at restaurant. Garages nearby or lucky to find street parking.

The only place I have tried in State College that makes good sushi. Beef buns are incredible.

First time here. We were looking for the best Authentic Ramen in State College and read good things. I had the Spicy Ramen, definitely had a kick, We tried Kuro Miso and Kuro regular, as well as the dipping Ramen. It was good, will continue our quest for the best Ramen. We also had the Gyoza while a tad small was fried and great flavor. The shrimp buns were delicious.
