I can appreciate good customer service and will update my review based on the service I received. I know they have a lot of turnover in staff and often have new staff working, so I will give them some grace. Don't make the mistake I made, take a few sips of your delicious drink before you leave the store to ensure it's the quality you expect.
I was so excited order from Teafe yesterday as a treat. I had been a few months since I had been there and I usually enjoy their beverages. I was so disappointed yesterday as my Boba was undrinkable as they were just a big clump at the bottom of my cup. Their ordering system has the ability to let them know how your order was and chat with them but I never got a response and don't expect one at this point. For $7.50 for a 16oz drink I expect great quality.

There are a couple boba shops in State College, and I'm sad to say but I do think TeaFe need to up their game. I think their drinks are good enough, and the prices are just like any boba store (my favorite is Strawberry Shake). The interior is clean and well-decorated, and I spent some time with my friends here playing board game before. My only problem with this store is the service. I came usually during off days or slow hours, but the service is always so slow. I don't mind it personally, but I do think service is important in order to make any store a success. There have been instances where I ordered one drink and it would take much longer than I expected. Although the service has improved now, it's still not to the standard where I could say that it's not slow. I worked at a food and beverage store and I know the time it takes to make a drink, and they took way too long than it should've taken. The vibe is otherwise good. I cannot justify the slow service, and I think people going here should come with the expectation that the service is slow. Otherwise, the drinks and food are okay. I saw that the business frequently reply to their reviews, and I do hope that if they do notice this review to take it as a constructive criticism. I do love having a boba store not in Downtown, but boy I would love it more if the service wasn't slow.

i ordered peach burst and i expected an iced peach sparkling water. instead, i got a peach flavoured water (not sparkling) without NO ICE.
i asked the server where my ice in the water, and she said she was taught like that. its so weird that a sparkling boba water has no ice. its not even a hot beverage.
i remember ordering the same drink but strawberry flavoured. they still put ice so i was so confused.
also, if your recipe does not have ice in it, pls do not put the ice level option bcs it does not serve any purpose there if youre not gonna put the ice there anyways. and the service take way tooooo long lol there are not even a lot of people. like there were 3 people

I love this place so much! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The drinks and snacks are also delicious, and you can definitely tell they’re made from the heart. My favorite drinks are the Brown Sugar Tiger Boba and Thai Milk Tea with Boba! It's always a treat coming here!

I've had several drinks from here and they're usually top-notch. The brown sugar and the matcha have been my favorites, and the taro and rose were also very good. The one flavor I didn't love was Thai tea, a little weak. The boba often tastes very fresh. It's nice to have a boba place that isn't downtown.
Quality of tea is always Great! Prices are not bad compared to other chain tea places. Service is good but a little slow sometimes. I love the atmosphere there, which is why I will continue to go as long as they remain in that location.

The menu is huge and there’s so many options and variety of boba and desserts! Really enjoyed the onigiris and the chocolate taiyaki.
