Hands down the best place to get seafood in Seafood in State College. They have both the freshest fish and the most variety. I had the most delicious fish I have ever had the pleasure of eating from here - a succulent and buttery sea bass. If they don't have it fresh, they often have it frozen, which is nearly just as good. They also have a variety of other seafood: oysters, calamari, various seafood dips, clams, etc. Don't forget crackers, lemons/limes, and sauces! They have it all!The store layout is nice in that it feels more like a market than a sterile grocery store. They have Maine-themed decorations and table displays throughout so that it is fun to shop and look at all the neat offerings. Their staff is super nice and always willing to help find something or answer questions!

We were in town for the PSU White Out football game this past weekend and we purchased lobster rolls at their pop up tent outside the stadium. It was hands down the best lobster roll I've ever had! Full on lobster without excessive seasoning, just perfect. Tent was very clean and the workers were super friendly and efficient.

Beautiful sushi grade salmon!! For the price of a lot, lot less salmon at Wegs, I got a lovely, thick piece of buttery salmon here! They even skinned it for me, and sell lemons at the register. I don't think I will buy fish anywhere else now that I've been to M&B. They do have signs saying 15 minute parking at EVERY spot which was unsettling, I wanted to take my time shopping, but instead got my items and got out of there. If you live in State College, you know you'll get towed.

This review is solely for the restaurant because I was too hungry to linger in the store! I came here several months ago after a long day at a conference because I heard they had the freshest seafood in State College. This is totally accurate! Hands down! It's an interesting setup. The "restaurant" is more like a take-out station that's housed in a brewery. There are inside and outside tables where you can eat (I chose outside because I'm still not eating in restaurants due to COVID). They bring you your food but no other service is provided, which is fine by me. I hadn't eaten all day so I got both the salmon salad and the fish tacos, both of which were incredible. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. I am heading out to State College again and thought to myself, "Awesome! I can revisit Maine Bay and Berry!" Can't wait!

This place has the freshest most amazing seafood in State College. They also carry several other unique and fun exclusively from Maine USA such as jelly, cooking sauces, Main pies, Maine blueberries, Maine maple syrup etc. it's a fun store to go visit. Check them out you won't be disappointed.

Stopped by the other day and tried the mahi mahi tacos, crab cake sandwich and corn chowder. Everything was so delicious and I can't wait to go back to try the rest of their menu items. So glad to have a place like this in central Pa.

I love this place!! They have a little bit of everything. Specialty items- fresh bread, Whoopi pies, canned fish, local honey, etc. The fish is shipped fresh- not frozen and they have sushi grade salmon and a few others. The assortment of fish was spectacular and they also have stuffed clams, crab cakes, and scallops too. There's also local cheese and some frozen seafood. Shrimp, lobster, and other meats are in the freezers in the room behind the register along with a cooler full of pies!! Fresh pies!!! This place is great- I can't wait for family to visit so we can take them there and then cook a big seafood dinner for everyone!

Great place to buy fresh fish! The crab dip was amazing, and the yellowfin and Norwegian salmon was so fresh and perfect for sushi! Can't wait to try more.

Great seafood just down the street from established Happy Valley Brewery. (Ballsy!) Wife and I ( and recent PSU grad kids) like it better. Food is is fresh grilled and steamed seafood Lobster rolls are filled with chicks of lobster. Not heavy on mayo. Great flavor! Fish tacos are grilled fish with purple cabbage on a corn tortilla with a sour cream spice. A tad over seasoned, but huge chunks of white fish. 2nd time back and will keep coming back.
