Uncle Chen's, in my opinion, is the best place to get good Chinese food in State College. It is always prepared exactly the way I order it. I've been getting my favorite tofu dish there for many years and it is not on the menu. I've never had an issue ordering it.

This food was amazing. I was a little nervous when I saw the low rating but honestly it seems like most of the negative reviews are not related to the food. Also I'm sure it's hard out here being a takeout business in a college town and I love seeing the restaurant owner stand up for themself. Go Uncle Chen's!
In terms of the food, the fried rice and lo mein were definitely American Chinese food vibes but we're very good. The 'Tofu with Hot Sichuan' was amazing and reminded me of flavors from my time abroad in Shanghai/Beijing.
The delivery driver was very friendly and punctual.
We'll be ordering from here again!

Ordered directly for delivery - broccoli with beef and king Pao chicken. VERY fresh veggies, flavorful. Arrived too hot to eat very fast. Truly great!

I Haven't had Uncle Chen's in years, but recently I've had their food 2 times and both times I was highly impressed. From their diverse menu options, quick delivery service and food-to-price ratio I would say I haven't eaten Asian cuisine this good since I've been in state college the last 20 years! I RECOMMEND this business!!!
Ordering delivery is incredibly responsive at any time of day. Food arrived at a perfectly hot temperature and the beverages were cold as well. Awesome service!

It is so easy to order ahead on their website. I place my order well before they open and never have any issue with it.
I put in options like make my chicken extra crispy or put more sauce on my General Tsoa chicken and they always do it.
Best chinese food in State College hands down. I would have given "atmosphere" a 5 but, it's take out and delivery only. But, that's perfectly fine with me.
