It's been a while since this happened and I'm still a little annoyed by it. My wife had an extremely stressful day at work and we were looking forward to a nice relaxing evening out. Unfortunately that didn't happen. I made 5pm reservations for my wife and myself. We arrived right on time and everything was great until we ordered dessert. After we ordered deserts (it was about 5:50pm) the waitress came back to our table and told us that the table we were sitting at was needed for a 6:00pm reservation. She offered to move us to a different table or we could take our desserts home. We opted to take our desserts with us. Our waitress was obviously annoyed with the person who took the reservations. She apologized several times and even comped the desserts. She really tried to save our evening. We recognize that this mess was not our waitress' fault. Unfortunately we were so blown away with the poor planning that it was just not possible.

They fit us in early on a busy reservation night. The owner/operator waited on our table personally with familiarity. Al of the meals, prime rib special, steak salad and a hamburger were prepared as requested and very good. The atmosphere was family friendly and joyful. A great neighborhood or destination restaurant.

The fries and the burgers are a must, there are plenty of options, beer is poured well. The atmosphere is the classic neighborhood bar with a brass bar and wood panel. Jade was pleasant and attentive!
I wish I remembered our bartenders name but she was awesome, we got the roast beef sandwich ?? and some drinks. Definitely my favorite kind of bar, homey feel you can't see to find

Food was delicious, staff were friendly and welcome, and there were some unique food items!I got the pork cheddar sandwich, and it was delicious. The homemade chips are really good!
