Loved since we moved to PA in 2002, near the Stewartstown area, back when it was Summer’s. Young people, high school & college age, work there. They are very nice. When I order my milkshake extra thick, they listen. Soooo, yummy. Our kids, grandkids, my mom, and dog love it. Bubby always orders the Puppy Cup, even though he’s 12 now. Rita’s and Baskin Robbin’s are good, but nothing beats Bonkey’s.

Excellent little ice cream shop....parking is tough but worth the hassle for some good ice cream
They have the best snow cones some places skimp on the syrup but not Bonkey’s. My kids love the ice cream!
Amazing flavors, great ice cream. Try their pistachio if you have a chance. Insane!!!

I ordered pralines and cream and received butter pecan...when I approached the window the girl said "it was next to it so I thought it was it.". Never offered to correct it. We drove 40 minutes to try this place from MD...I think the hype is overrated....wasn't any better then bryers store bought.
I bought 2 quarts of ice cream. And paid 25 dollars for them. And I did not get two quarts. They were only filled 3/4 of the way. I think it’s a disgusting business practice to rip off your customers like that. I will definitely be telling everyone I know not to patronize this business.

Very delicious ice-cream. I really recommend the cookie dough flavor.
So many yummy ice cream flavors that you don't find everywhere else. Even the usual flavors are better here than elsewhere. I wish their hours were a little earlier during the week but, I understand supply and demand especially for a smaller business.
I enjoyed my experience at the Stewartstown location. I got a huge mix softserve in a cone for $5. The service was great and so was the ice cream.
Really good... have ice cream, snow balls, milk shakes, sundaes and more items in that line of goodies.
I have been going to Summers/Bonkeys Ice Cream Stand for many years and have always loved it. Always Very Friendly and quick efficient service. Always a Great place to go for Ice Cream if you are in Stewartstown, PA. Wonderful business, wonderful Service. Come and get your Ice Cream at Summers/Bonkeys!
