“The waitress who seated us and took our orders was super friendly. The fried green beans were still too hot to eat when we finished them because they were too good for us to wait for them to cool down! (I should have asked if I could buy a pint of the dipping sauce they were served with. It was amazing.) Sandwhich/burger were tasty and the perfect portion sizes. There was no ambient music in the dining room, which made the silence of the room feel a little jarring at first, but once I realized that I'm just accustomed to background music everywhere, the quiet of the room became a lot cozier. Loved the decor celebrating the history of the fire department. Dropped a pin on your location so next time we head north from Pittsburgh, I'll be able to see a reminder that I would love to stop back. Love that the revenue helps support the FD. Awesome model for an awesome lunch spot.”

“10 minutes off the highway if your looking for a sub. It's clean and the employees are friendly. The veggies looked really good for a subway, I was not unsatisfied with anything at this location.”

“Overall my experience at Margarita King in Mercer was good, but the enchiladas de Mar was a huge disappointment. Described in the menu as shrimp and crab. NO REAL CRAB MEAT!! Large chunks of imitation crab. It was worse than no crab at all. FDA rules prohibit using surimi and calling it crab on a menu. The dish would be much better with just shrimp if they can’t use real crab. ORDER ANYTHING ELSE! The band, Uptown Classic Hits was GREAT.”

“We went through the drive thru so I’m unsure of indoor atmosphere but the outside was fine. We had the best burger we’ve ever had! The fries were great too. The window employee was polite, professional and friendly. If you’re headed either way on route 79 in Pennsylvania it’s worth the 4 miles to get off at rt62 and eat here ??”
