“We were driving down from Toronto to Pittsburgh and just happened upon this place for a quick bite to eat and we were so glad to have found it. The people were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I wish I could have taken some cookies back to Toronto with me.”

“Quaint Pittsburgh sports themed establishment. Everybody knows everybody in this small town and everybody goes to Quillen's. Food is exceptional. Nice menu and anything you want to drink. Attentive servers make sure you have everything you need. Watch Football, Hockey, Baseball on the many TV screens, it play pool or darts.”

“10 minutes off the highway if your looking for a sub. It's clean and the employees are friendly. The veggies looked really good for a subway, I was not unsatisfied with anything at this location.”

Wonderful selection and especially happy they have Guinness and Crown.... My daughter came with me on Friday and loved the selection of craft beers.... “Outside appearance may be a bit deceiving, because inside the food and service was great. The inside decor was pleasant with a typical small town bar feel to it. We were passing thru town and just happened to see it on the main road thru the town. Friendly service, and they definitely treat regulars like family. Well rounded menu with lots of choices. I had the steak sub upon the recommendation from our server, and it came with fresh cut fries. The sub was lightly toasted and had perfectly flavored sautéd onions peppers and gooey melted cheese. The fries were tasty too. The portions were plenty, if not too big. Lots of beers to choose from and a few food specials were offered. If we find our way nearby again, we will certainly stop.”

“Let me start off by saying I LOVE a good diner! So when a friend & I were in the area we decided to try this place. Right away the waitress had a matter of fact tone with us that wasn't exactly rude but it definitely wasn't friendly either. I didn't think much about it until I overheard her with other customers and her tone was different. I also couldn't help but notice that all the other customers were decently older than us. We got our food and it was delicious! However the waitress wouldn't know if it was or not because she never decided to even bother checking back with us, not once. In fact I had to go get HER when we were done and waiting for the check and my to go order as well. I'm not sure if it was just us or if she has something against younger people but it was very obvious after paying a bit of attention that she def didn't care for us for some reason. Anyway the food was definitely really good and very well priced. I'm glad I got to try the food here but overall I don't see myself eating here again. I was really only here because one of the best diner restaurants I've ever gone to; Yellowcreek up the road, was closed.”

“We came here after church on Sunday. They have a food truck come on the weekends to serve up food in addition to the coffee and ice cream and treats they serve inside normally. We enjoyed sitting by the water of Lake Latonka and eating with our kids. The kiddos also enjoyed the playground equipment.”

Gloria who worked there then and to my surprise was working there today when i stopped in. Extremely friendly and the ham weggie is the best. “The 3 girls were extra friendly and engaged in conversation beyond DQ talking about cheesecake and the community finding out I just moved. One even offers to make me what I requested off the menu- Oreo cheesecake blizzard! It was the best blizzard I have had from a DQ and that is a lot of blizzard.This was one of the best fish sandwiches I have eaten. Next time I will say “no lettuce” and “add cheese”- not a fan of hot lettuce and cheese would have complimented the fish. We had cheese curds and onion rings that were perfectly cooked, crispy and golden brown with ranch.The banana split was great. The girls told me it was the best in the town- they were not kidding.I loved that they had covers picnic tables to sit and enjoy our meals.The only thing that could have been better is if the picnic tables were cleaned regularly to keep up with the birds. Honestly they were not even that bad but spotless tables would have iced the cake on this visit.I was impressed with the service, food price and atmosphere. My total can’t to $24 and some change- that was a great dinner!”

“Great small restaurant. Stopped for breakfast. Home fries are deep fried, probably out of a frozen package. Decor and furniture seem new. Certainly clean. Coffee was excellent with little acidity. Wanted onions and mushrooms with beef, forgot to do that, as the special was 3 Cheese omelette with home fries. Good service with quick refills. Mercer county PA. Georgetown road. Nasty snowy rainy weather. A good place to rest the wings. Food acceptable, not sure how homemade.Parking: At a corner of 2 roads.”
