My family and I stopped by Speckled Hen Coffee for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff were all very friendly. The seasonal peppermint latte was especially delicious and well done. Highly recommend!

Excellent location for a lunch prior to Sight and Sound show. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially with gluten allergies. The coffee is delicious and all syrups are house made. Food is fresh and portions are perfect. Will be back.

My wife and I went to look for gluten free food. I have celiac disease here and the options were good. We’re obsessed with the lavender lemonade here! I got a gf breakfast wrap and fries. She got a bacon jam burger with fries. Food was fresh and the portions were good. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff. I would 100% come here again. Highly recommend.

I can see that they use an Apple system for purchasing but the Apple system evidently asks the customer for a tip before they have tasted the food, before it has been served. What if the food is less than you expected? What if the service takes too long? At the point of purchase you don’t know what the tip should be. Also, while I was there eating, I ordered a carryout coffee. I got an email it was ready. When I asked where the carryout pickup was I was told to wait in line behind everyone in line who were ordering and paying. Then when I got to the head of the line I was prompted for a tip and I’m given a cup (containing the desired creamer only) and I’m directed to go and fill the cup myself. It doesn’t sound like the restaurant (Apple?) knows the purpose of a tip. It’s like a tip is an entitlement? Is it just an opportunity to donate?

We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Speckled Hen in their upstairs taproom for about 25 people. We worked with Tara on the planning side and Matt hosted our event. Both were very nice to work with. We had some dietary restrictions in our party, and they were very accommodating. Their well labeled menu made ordering for our guests a breeze. We liked the ambiance of the exposed brick room and the intimate bar area. They also delivered sandwich trays right to our venue to following morning on our wedding day. Everything tasted great. We would certainly visit the coffee shop again when in the area.
